Definitely my next FB story.

I must admit it does bug me a little when people post a comp that just says:
'E: XX/XX Win a hamper (FB)'
or
'E: XX/XX Win makeup (FB)'
and just a link and no info?
The hamper could be anything from a food hamper to a biscuit hamper, meat hamper, sweet hamper, pamper hamper, jam hamper.....and is it an APP, L&S or L&C comp??? Simply changing the title to eg 'Win a Thorntons Chocolate Hamper (FB L&S)' would be so much better!
And the 'win make-up'?
The make-up could be anything from a single mascara to a make-up gift set or huge bundle of make-up??? And is it a cheap, unknown or well known brand, such as Elizabeth Arden? And as before, is it an APP, L&S or L&C comp??? Simply changing the title to eg 'Win Elizabeth Arden Eye Shadow pallet (FB APP)' would be so much better!
And before you shoot me down, I am thankful to anyone who posts up a comp on MSE! I do just wish that some people could add just a little more info:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
when people - way after the end date has finished posts the winning tweet and 'clicks expired'
it's past the end date of course it's expired0 -

Completely agree - just that extra info makes all the difference:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I hate the like and share competitions. Funny thing is, I went on a social media course last year for the job I was doing at the time (which relied heavily on Facebook competitions) and actually competitions which ask for any information about you, or ask you to share the post are against Facebook rules (but I don't see much being done about it) - You can Follow and RT on twitter with no rule breaking.
I don't mind ones where you like the post, but I hate when they try to get you to share under the premise that you don't have to but I bet people who share the post are more likely to winOur Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

'E: XX/XX Win a hamper (FB)'
or
'E: XX/XX Win makeup (FB)'
and that is annoying cos you have to hover over to see where the comp is from, and you cannot do that on a tablet/phone
'clicky/click here/comp' etc annoys me too, when you cannot see where the comp is from unless you open the page. much better to put the comp provider name in the link0 -
E-mails with a subject mentioning 'winner' which turn out to be news of how that company or website won an award.0

What really gets me is (not sure if this has been said before) when there is multiple entry streams, ie, Post/Text/Phone/Web but you never know how many people enter via which stream and which stream was successful. It would be nice to see that then you can see if all streams to enter are just as likely to win or if favouritism is shown to specific streams.
I would also like for other ways to enter a competition other than say just through facebook.2015 I won a motorbike worth £5000.
2016/17 blanked.
2018 Intel i7 CPU worth £395.

you can pretty much guarantee that comps without an end date will include chatty lines like "hi guys" or "I have found a great comp" etc ... why?! this puzzles me lol0
