When you unsubscribe from an annoying newsletter and seconds later you receive a confirmation email with the words 'sorry to see you are leaving....resubscribe?' and you click the link by accident and re-suscribe yourself! Doh!

I can tolerate number captchas generally, but there was one competition today that took me 6 numbers before there was one I could actually read and see!
Some were so dark you couldn't see the numerals. One image had been taken from one side so the numbers were indistinguishable, others were just blurred.
I know my eye test is due but they're not that bad!

There are two things I hate about comping....
1. Waiting. Waiting for wins, waiting for pages to load, waiting to see a recaptcha I don't have to squint at.
2. Other compers. As they seem to get in my way of winning.

I hate comps open to UK only and you have to pick from a list of every country in the world!Won a holiday every year since 2014......come on 2021!!

^ I think it might be that the software used to create the form is a generic one created in, probably, the US, and the website folk don't have the means to edit out all the country options.0

I hate competitions where you have to explain why you or 'a special loved one' should win. CUE SOB STORY ESCALATION.

Impossible captchas, the type mentioned above which asks for sob stories, and drop down forms which ask for my county then proceed to only list the administrative counties that existed almost two decades ago (or, even more annoyingly, the older historic counties that disappeared in 1974).0
