What's your pet hate about comping?

I hate getting Twitter notifications from bots telling me things like 'The loon daily is out (link) stories via (link)! I get them all the time for everything and anything!

When newbies start a thread asking 'what is the best comping site to join?' It is like going into MacDonalds and asking 'Do you think I should buy a BigMac from here or go next door to Burger King for a Whopper? Which is the better fast food chain - you or them?????'

its where youve said something or posted a link that someone whos added you to a list finds interesting. they aggregate them into a daily newsletter and send it out to those that 'contributed'

The stories I read on the facebook section of heart/magic/smooth radio, etc comping pages! You know the ones, the 'My friend or cousins, daughters son has had such an awful day so winning this will make them soooo happy'!!!!

And the 'Tick here to receive more information to not subscribe to receive posting information regarding this competition' tick-boxes!!!! They have to actually make you think to whether you must untick it or not.

I'm sorry but the 'I'm not winning anything' posts as well as the 'I received a missed parcel note in the door, what do you reckon it is?' really grate at me too.

It's not really a gripe with comping, but it's slightly annoying how there aren't that many comp's aimed at men.
I get that women have more options with Handbags, Cosmetics, perfumes etc ... but there are rarely any Mens cosmetics (You get the occassional aftershave and that same personalised razor comp that keeps appearing) but not much. There needs to be more Men Expert or Dove Men or something comps. Even most of the clothes comps are more aimed at women.
