E: 5/12 Win a week's supply of Naty eco disposable nappies (Rafflecopter) Daily
No disrespect to posters of these comps... and I like RC's, but page after page of the above type of comps, does my head in!0 -
Christmas themed prizes where the competition which ends after Christmas :mad:0
-
Oh yeah, those are awful. Then there's the ones like:
"We'll provide your Christmas dinner - competition ends Dec 24" So what am I supposed to do? Wait until then to see if I win before grocery shopping? :doh:
Another one: Advents which are only deals. Do these people not realize how tight they look if they can't even cough up a scarf and gloves set or candy box or anything? 10% off or free delivery is NOT an Advent Prize!Hi, I'm Mich
I won a years supply of Comfort fabric softener in November 2013 - more than half remains...
2015 survey proceeds £115.360 -
hovering over a comp thread and not being able to see the comp company cos the link is a photo fb one.
sorry i know i should be grateful that people post all these comps but its annoying cos i am spending loads of time opening threads that i dont want to open and could have seen that by hovering if the link wasnt just a photo link0 -

My one gripe is '/' not being accepted in some address fields! The first part of my address is 0/1 so forms an integral part of my address.. I obviously just go back and amend to '-' but.. grrrr!£135/£2015

- The proliferation of mandatory Facebook login for more and more competitions. This does go beyond comping too but as someone permabanned from FB and who won a fair few good prizes, it does rub salt into the wounds;
- Phone calls that go along the lines of:
"Hello, am I speaking to Lord Retford?"
"Yes, you are."
"Hi there. I am absolutely delighted to tell you that you..."
I'm awaiting the good news forthcoming; then...
"...can enjoy a subscription to our magazine for £1 a month for three months";
:sad::mad:
- ITV not calling my mobile phone;
- Companies not playing fair and deceiving people by making the winner of a competition someone connected with the company. Even caught out big firms doing it. Its simply not cricket.0 -
· Captchas
· Having to chase up prizes that never get sent
· The companies ignoring the emails I send chasing up prizes
· Ts & Cs that take 50 times longer to read than entering the comp
· Facebook L & S comps - why do they still do these?
· Hitting 'submit' just as you realise there's a dozen tick boxes you missed, meaning you will be spammed for life
· Emails entitled 'Congratulations WINNER' and when you open it it's Mavis from Dorset who has won
· Not winning that one I REALLY want to win but winning that 'Oh, I may as well enter this one' comp
· MSE going off line for maintenance at 1am (I'm often a night owl)
· Self promoting on MSE
· Popping out for 45 mins to do something to return and find that the regular comp posters have clearly been waiting for me to pop out and between them they've managed to post 40000 comps on MSE in 45 minutes meaning I am now spending the next 3 hours playing catch up
· People who don’t ‘thank’ the person who has taken the time and effort to find the answer to a comp question when the OP has asked for help
· UK competitions that ask for ‘State’ and ‘Zip Code’
Think that’s about it for now; I’m sure I have a few more dozen that I can’t think of atmUEFA: Corrupting Football Since 1954 #CTID0 -
Captchas - Very necessary, but do they really need to be indecipherable? I find myself refreshing the box on a few times to get to one i can read .
Retweets that are too long, i've had them a few times in my short time comping. I abbreviated a couple of words lol.
Click to wins - Oh my god!! I gave these up after 3 weeks as felt like i was losing the will to live.
Rafflecopters that are stupendously long.
Other than that, i love everything about comping:beer:
