Weeowens I get called the "Comping Police" because I keep posting to say don't bump the threads

Hmm given that I ask people not to bump threads, report self promotion and the like would that make me one of the "forum police"? If so can I have a badge please?

It helps a bit but I'm still not sure.I get the vibe that it is a negative comment & maybe one that we should aim not to use,in my view.
If we have an issue with a member & we perceive that they have appointed themselves to this strange "Comping Police Service" we have the option of passing our concerns to MSE admin rather than launching online assaults.0 -

I actually asked someone who used it on me to not use it as they were bullying me, they stopped but MSE Mods told me off for using the word bully even though that is what they were doing
