Thanks for this, unfortunately that price is one that the website has converted from dollars, and they have used something like 2.13 dollars to the pound, which isn't an exchange rate available on the open market.

TRAVELMAN thanks for your input, it clarified the situation.
The price given by ST did not incl trans/meals.
The info you have given has made all the diff to how I looked at the holiday. It has now been booked with the CO-OP, and for £1486 I have got meals and trans incl and am fully atol bonded.
Well worth it I would say.
