i have got some of those jam pot covers. but i thought once u then opened the jam u had to use it all in one go , because u don't have anything to keep it covered. but will def use them if i make the maramalde.0

I have alot of satumas left that are starting to go soft and the kids won't eat them like that, do i have to chuck them or is there something i do with them?

I have a load of these - 2kg or more - which, to judge by a few of them, are about to go bad.

could you make a marmalade or orange curd ?
or peel & segment & freeze - not too sure about this- but I've seen them on frozen cheese cake...
stuff in the cavity of a chicken or duck with an onion -would use a couple I guess
orange sauce for above - frozen in handy size portion obviously lol

There's a recipe here for a boiled orange cake - I bet it'd probably work with satsumas as well (the author said she's used clementines). It's flourless as well, so good for people who need a gluten free diet.0
