We got married in Mauritius and would highly recommed it. Great beach resorts but its also a big island with plenty to do and explore.

Hawaii for £3.5 - £4k? admittedly we did it one new year so the prices would be high , but still going to be pricey ( and I was very under whelmed by it )

Which island did you go to? Oahu is like any other tourist destination. Crowded, built up and full of tourists.

Maui, Hawaii or Kaui are all gorgeous.
  • I've not been to Malaysia/Indonesia/Thailand, however in March this year we went to India. We did Delhi/Agra/Jaipur, so saw the Taj Mahal. Really great holiday. Thought I'd throw it in as a suggestion as it hasn't already been mentioned. Beaches up the west coast, or could stop off at Dubai or somewhere else.

Or, have you considered a cruise or cruise and stay?
