Madagascar: the resort island of Nossy Be is a bit like the Seychelles, and the rest of the country is both varied and stunning.

I know you said no America, but what about Hawaii? Its not exactly like the mainland. Still my favourite place out of everywhere Ive been.

Langkawi is a nice place, the beach is nice (although not as good as Hawaiian beaches :) ). I spent a while there backpacking.

Or you could do KL or Singapore and then Langkawi. There's also Penang.
  • Kenya? Mix beach and safari, maybe? What about Argentina?

Hawaii for £3.5 - £4k? admittedly we did it one new year so the prices would be high , but still going to be pricey ( and I was very under whelmed by it )

Whilst Spring is a great time to visit the Maldives it's also the most expensive time. A really good 4* all inclusive will set you back almost £5k just for a week.

Kenya was great in March, we had a lovely safari and beach stay and that would be well within your budget.

Thing is, you say you want to go in Spring but are then discounting a lot of the destinations that have great weather at that time because you have already done them or don't fancy them.

I think Sri Lanka is also a good suggestion, a nice mix of heritage, culture and nature.

There is no 'honeymoon' rule that you cannot revisit somewhere you have already been, that's exactly what we are doing. We are even going back to the island we went to this year and have just upgraded our room. If you really enjoyed a certain place then why not go again but have a nicer hotel etc?

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

I said we're thinking about going in Spring. We're happy to go anytime of year apart from our Winter. It's just that Spring is generally the best time of year to go to the areas we are looking at.

We're also not discounting anywhere we've been purely because we've 'been there done that', but because we weren't blown away by the place.

Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.
  • I didnt like Hawaii that much either.......

I would suggest Malaysia, could do a couple of days in KL and then onto Borneo....

Or Bali..........also a place that i loved, you could do a few days in Ubud and then a beach resort like Seminyak?
