I know KW, just feels as though giving up my temp job was a mistake (less travelling and better wages). OH seems to be doing ok with his job, he's now earning more than me and can start paying me back and getting stuff done to the car. I have been offered an interview for a permanent job elsewhere (connected to previous temp job, shame it couldn't have come up earlier), wondering should I go for it?

Sorry to hear that the new job is not as positive as you would like. Perhaps they will warm to you over time? As for now, as someone else said, just keep your head down, and document any unpleasantness. Just in case you need to complain officially about it.....

Not sure about that Chev, pulling chairs away etc is very immature. Tried being my usual cheery self (as I was in my last place) and it's getting me nowhere. They all had a work do on Friday last week and I didn't get invited till 4pm on the Friday. So there was no chance I could go even if I'd wanted to. During the week I was sat with two of them and one asked the other if they wanted a coffee, I got ignored (I suggested we all go so I could see more of the building). I've also had strange emails asking what exactly I'll be doing and not in a nice way iyswim. It's all very bizarre. There's no need to be like that, I've worked with some colourful characters over the years but this is unreal.

OH seems happy where he is and I'm glad as he seems more settled and his wages have gone up to what he should be on for his experience. He's paid me back some money (gone to bills) and the rest should be soon which will go into savings.

How is everyone? I went for the other interview but I've not heard anything back. Is the current job any better? No, not really. I had a nasty fright in the lift. Its glass and it started to go down then stopped suddenly then dropped a foot ....fast! Then the doors wouldn't open. I had some of my colleagues outside thinking this was funny. One of the building security came and got me out but I was pretty shaken.

Been doing surveys again, but one of them is only 10 points away from a pay out and its been ages since I had a survey.

Reached pay out level so just need to wait on them transferring the money. This survey site takes a month to pay out.

SS seems to have been helping himself to some of mine and OH's packed lunch stuff. I wouldn't mind if it was just one thing at a time but he'll take 6 biscuits/chocolate bars so the stuff has been moved and locked away. Terrible I have to do this but no point in speaking to him as it goes in one ear and out of the other.

We treated my Gran to a new tv. Nothing fancy but her old one the picture had gone all funny. She was a little angry that we wouldn't let her pay for it, but it wasn't expensive and if you can't treat your Gran who can you treat?

Updated my totals. How is everyone? Taking it easy as not feeling brilliant.

Trying to sort out wages (or tax rather) for new job. Payroll were supposed to send me a P46 but I've still to receive it.

Not yet Chev, we took him to see flats etc and did a spreadsheet showing his out goings and he's realised just how much things cost. He's saving up for a better deposit. He knows he has till the end of the year and that's it as our circumstances are changing so he'll need to move
