SS? I told OH what happened yesterday, he's going to leave it and see what happens with it. Every time the phone rings SS wants to know who it is. Now it wouldn't be for him as he's been told not to give out the house number as he has a mobile.
OH? Still hating the job. After I dropped him off I went to the nearest town and got bits and pieces for my friends baby hamper. I also got some packets of noodles (10p a pack) and some pate (29p, great for toast as lunch or a snack).
Add £7.11 to my 2014 total from tarot. Its not a lot but every little helps at the moment. Off to check bank, update my clear out list etc and then back to my presentation.
Yay! to the 2nd interview :j:j:j (when is it?)
Meh to everything else (other than the foodie bargains)Must use my stash up!0 -
Great news about the interview.:D
Sorry about the other stuff:(. I hope that OH will man up and stick things out, he really owes you on this:AThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Hello All, the 2nd interview is tomorrow. I have a presentation to do. My printer decided to go kaput on me last night (after only recently using some Amazon vouchers I won to use to get new ink), now my old printer is around 12 years old and really doesn't owe me anything, its just the timing I couldn't be doing with. Struggling to write my presentation (10 sides max and it has to be printed out in colour handouts for the panel), got a new printer this morning and haggled a certain big computer store down to £60 including extra ink (I had money from my birthday from my Gran which I still hadn't spent, so thank you Gran!). Its supposed to work wirelessly but having trouble getting that bit to work. I may mess about with it on Friday once my interview is out of the way. It works via cable and is nice and clear which is all I'm worried about!
Suit is ready for tomorrow and spent last night doing notes and pointers for my slides but feel like I have writers block!!!!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hello everyone, how is everybody?
I had my 2nd interview yesterday, I think it went ok. Just keep your fingers crossed for me as I'd really like to go back and work there. I was told I'd hear next week.
Had a clear through the food cupboards and found lots of stuff on the top shelf at the back that was very out of date! (2006! for a few tins....where the very embarrassed smilie when you need it?). My cupboard are really tall so I need a step stool to reach the top shelf. I eventually threw out a carrier bag of stuff but I really need to start using stuff.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Still waiting to hear, its nerve wracking!
Its definitely colder today. OH is on earlies this week but at least he finishes early, the downside is the alarm going off at 4am!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Just had a text from OH's niece telling me she's pregnant. She said she wanted me to find out from her rather than anyone else. Fair enough, but I can't help but feel very angry. Not for the fact she's pregnant but the way she's gone about it. She felt completely left out (she loves being centre of attention) when her brother and his partner had their little girl and then when her boyfriend dumped her for messing about on him last year (he got back with the girl he'd been with before and they've now had a baby) she took up very quickly with someone and moved him in with her within a few weeks. She totally took over her brother's partner's baby shower (drinking and tried to make it about her), then the day after her brother's baby was born she announces she's got engaged (again she hated not being centre of attention) and then when what happened to OH and I we didn't hear from her at all, no Christmas/new year or birthday message (even though we send her and her boyfriend a card, small present, message etc). So I feel she's done this for all the wrong reasons. She's already said she expects her Mum (my SIL) to babysit every weekend. She's not a kid she's nearly 30!
Am I being unreasonable?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
