hi i'm fine thanks, suffering along with you with the heat, needing to find a solution to a bitty puppy as well!0

LT what's he/she chewing? or is it biting? Puppies learn not to bite from their Mum's. So in this case thats you. Try positive reinforcement for good behaviour and change your tone with the puppy for bad behaviour and try ignoring them when they've been biting. If it is also chewing let me know.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Hello everyone, how is everyone? OH has bought one of those e-cigs, so far he's only had 5% of the cigarettes he normally has! If he can stick to this it will save a huge amount of money, he did switch to tobacco for work but if he can stick to this then it'll save a huge amount.
Off today as its a public holiday, not achieved much. Car is back on the road, clean, t-cut but the gears are a bit sticky (auto) but it has been off the road for 6 months.
Got all the gutters cleared today and managed to get 3 buckets of stuff out of them!!!! There's a lot of guttering and its not been done for about 3 years. Weeded and watered all the plants.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. hi, Puppy (she) is chewing which we have lots of toys to help with but also biting
which is not so good as it only seems to be with me, or mostly with me. Maybe i'm not good enough at telling her off - must try harder and practice with the people in my team at work lol 0 -
LT, i know it may be hard but try when she does that to use the middle knuckle to tap her nose (not hard) and say a firm 'no'. She should get the message quite quickly.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Well its payday, I've put away 2/3 for bills (monthly ones). OH moaning about too much stuff in the freezer. We had southern fried chicken last night and the coating had gone brittle in the freezer and he was moaning saying chuck everything out!!!!!! Er, I don't think so. So I suggested a pork stir fry tonight and he says 'I don't like pork' ..... funny that if I make it he eats it and he'll eat bacon, pork chops, gammon steaks..... I think he's just being pedantic. Pork is staying put and I'll make it up at some point.
Is anyone else got a NEST pension? My current employer has just started mine. Tempted just to leave it running (although I can opt out) as I only have one other from a previous job. My second previous one as you know they cashed out and I had to use the money to pay bills whilst I wasn't working. So I only have the one which at the moment would give me about 5K pa when I retire which isn't a lot. Got all the info through on NEST and my login so I think I may activate my account and just let it run. It says I can also pay into it, and take breaks when I'm not working (hoping that doesn't happen again!!!!).
Pasta salad (tuna) for lunch and I'm looking forward to it. Quite hungry. Lots of chocolate in the office and I'm ashamed to say I've had a cake and 2 chocs already!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning, thanks HAW. It was a big surprise about my PPI. Didn't expect that much. Its spurred me on to do the other one now.
Well as I said in the quick post yesterday (sorry about that I was tired) OH is on earlies. Another trip to Mr A as it was too early to head straight into work. They have some of their aftershave boxsets down under £10. I nabbed 007 gift set (30ml edt and 100ml shower gel) for £9, I'll put this away for OH for his christmas. I'll need to mark it on my gifts spreadsheet (I keep a note of everything I've bought, who its for and how much I've paid for it). Also bought myself a jumper its one of those crochet ones, long sleeved and yes I know its still summer but I knew if I left it it wouldn't be there when I wanted it. ........I also finally managed to get the jacket I've been after in Mr A! A leather look, quilted sleeve biker jacket but it drapes if that makes sense. Very like the one Carla wears in Coronation St.
Need to sort out my bills for this month, cc etc. SS is due to pay his dig money (he's still off his work, we've told him if he's not careful they'll get rid of him. Two long abscences even though they're medical/injury a week apart doesn't look good) so I'll keep that aside for shopping this weekend.
Tea last night was pie and beans, quick and simple. Though I was naughty and had 2 pies same as OH.
How savvy is your OH's when it comes to savings? OH hands me a letter from his bank and asks if they are offering a good rate of interest..... it was 0.5%!!!!! I explained it was awful and even though I have an account like that I use it to separate money for bills and money that can be spent.
Garden wise, my chillis are growing well and I have a few tomatoes (lots of flowers though so hopefully they'll grow!), my herbs have suffered a bit in the sunshine.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
