Hello All, its pretty miserable here weather wise. We're in the city today as OH wants to spend his birthday money. I'm using the free wifi and doing Quidco checkins for a few extra pennies (I look at it as being paid to window shop).
Went for a meal for OHs birthday yesterday and got dim sum from a restaurant in china town, so reasonable. 8 different dishes and drinks (we got jasmine tea) for £32! Total bargain.
Friday, catching up with my friend was good. Got her some flowers, also took some pizza and apple pie for dessert. I'm one of those people that will not turn up empty handed. Think it was the way I was brought up. We had a great natter.
Off to see family today then home to sort paperwork, bills (cc to pay) and iron clothes for work. Hoped to get all the washing dried yesterday but it decided to pour down whilst we were out and I had two loads out on the washing line!
Tea tonight.... Not thought that far, maybe cheese and crackers again.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
Tea last night was cheese and crackers! Made pasta salad for my lunch today, I put boiling water into the pasta put it over the heat to let it boil for a minute then turned off the heat and left it over the ring with the lid on it (after a quick stir so it wouldn't stick) and left it for 25 mins. Voila, perfectly cooked pasta and hardly any fuel used.
Paid the cc's and have started a spreadsheet for my expenses on my phone so I can keep an eye on what I'm spending.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Morning All, OH was on earlies this morning so I'm up and about early. Been to Mr A and got some more baskets for hampers. I keep saying I'll sort out my study and the back bedroom (as its become a dumping ground for clothes, it resembles mount everest at the moment) but I haven't got around to it. I think the next time OH is on nightshift, I'll start it.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Uni how many times are you going to let SS walk over you? You have threatened to chuck him out a few times now.Must use my stash up!0

I know what you're both saying Knit Witch, HAW but after OH losing SD (long story) we're keen for it not to happen to SS. We actually think he may be bipolar but even after trying to talk to him for hours he refuses to go talk to someone. OH has said though if it turns out that SS is at it like his sister was (playing games) and is genuinely not needing help he'll pack his bags himself.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. I know you are Knit Witch and it is very much appreciated. Its nice being able to come on here and vent. OH is worried the strain its having on us as well. He's told SS in no uncertain terms that if it turns out to be games like his sister played he'll be booted out. OH had 'issues' shall we say in the past and SD played on that, OH isn't wanting to write SS off like his sister just yet in case he's inherited OH's problems iyswim. OH has suggested a family meal on saturday, just the 3 of us then the cinema. We'll see what happens.
Tired and feeling quite sick this morning. My reflux is playing up something chronic. Bought some ranitide in Mr A on way to work (this is after my GP telling me that you couldn't get it anymore!). OH wants to sort the spare room this weekend and sort through mount everest of clothes. It would be nice to reclaim that room again so friends can stay over.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
