The "security" issue you're on about is basically the security is only as good as the password that protects you. You need a strong password incorporating numbers, letters and symbols. It should also be of reasonable length of at least 8 characters.
If you take all that onboard, and have reasonable security on your home PC you shouldn't really have much to worry about.0 -
Are both Win 7 computers on same network? If on same network, use Microsoft Default RDC tool. You need to type IP Address of the target machine and clicks connect. If on different networks, you need to use 3rd party tools such as logmeinrescue, gosupportnow, GoToMyPC etc. or can even install on premise remote support appliance such as RHUB or Bomgar appliances.0
