Ignore for a little bit, then when the threats start to arrive then take action against the local ASDA

How could you take action against the local Asda? An individual branch isn't a company, it isn't even a registered office, it's just a heap of bricks. If you want to serve anything on a company you need to do it to the registered office.

Definitely the underlings doing the replies. I can confirm that most, if not all, of those who work in the relevant department haven't a Scooby on the subject...and I include Trading Law in that.

If someone writes to him he is responsible for the reply, whoever writes it. Not caring what your minions are saying in response to genuine customer complaints sounds like the very definition of arrogant to me.

As for the man himself, always comes across as a pretty decent sort of chap when I've met him and he does NOT appreciate managers abusing their position to take it out on 'the little guy'.

Next time you meet him will you please point out to him the damage his parking policies are doing to his company and its reputation.

Lets just say wheels are in motion.

Good grief. Make sure Andy Clarke (Asda CEO) gets a complaint about this, including the picture of the car on a truck. If that doesn't make the arrogant w****r take notice then nothing will.

    P.S. love your nickname!

Thank you I have sent an email with the picture of the car on a tow truck. I hope I get a reply saying the charge :j has been cancelled

He's clearly arrogant enough to agree to have his customers ripped off and to never reply to emails to HIS email address. And before you say he's the CEO of course he's not going to reply, I've had correspondence directly with other highstreet CEOs when I've emailed them - he obviously just thinks he's too important to talk to customers.

Whether the charge gets cancelled is irrelevant really since it was never enforceable anyway. The idea is to try and get the point across to him that his customers do not like being treated like this, to the extent that some of them are now ex-customers.

Or perhaps the correct email address is not being used. ;)

Possible given there may be more than one Andy Clarke at Asda but the one all over the internet doesn't produce a bounce back so if he's not covering that inbox I'd suggest it's been setup to "con" people into thinking they're sending the email to him.

    Only the one.
Suspect the latter may be in play then.
