Wow! Was just about to post that postie brought a freebie of dog deodoriser spray when a parcel van pulls up. I stood by the door praying he would knock on mine and he did! :j :D
I won an Ergorapido cordless vacuum :T but I can't find the post I entered it from! There's a few posts on this and I know there was one on fb too so I've either entered through that or forgot to thank but I generally thank all posts I enter from! :o Nevertheless I am excited for a win! :j this will definately be needed as my dyson is on its way out! :)

Sheils, that's a shame about the WEM for Arran, I would definately try to rearrange it due to weather conditions. Maybe they might give you for another date :) well done on the win! :T
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

    Helloooo! Sorry I haven't been around :o

Hugs and love to all. xxxx

Have been trying to catch up with thanks in the Inn but internet keeps cutting out, every few minutes on a bad day, even with refreshing! Sometimes I get a half hour so I keep persevering, cos I wanted you to know I was able to read and enjoy your posts. Bear with me :o

It has been soooo awfully bitter cold here - have enough supplies to keep me fine, been years, decades, since it's been this harsh but I watch the news and feel thankful that I have not had it so bad after seeing how many people are suffering due to heavy snow and drifts, also particularly the hill farmers, losing their breeds and the lambs and peeps who have been completely cut off due to the conditions. So upsetting :(

Yes Walwin, I am prepared too :D!!! Ging Gang Goolie !!!! Was brought up singing that around the camp fire!!!! Loved camping with girls brigade and then onto guides when we moved. :D :rotfl::rotfl: Your post made me laugh and brought back very happy memories but not so of the latrines :eek: For anyone who had the wee 'job' of emptying them and cleaning them ....... it was a bit of a bummer!!!!! :rotfl: Yuk :eek::o

I can recall this time last year the weather was beautiful - cos I can remember gardening and enjoying the warmth!!

Also, I was fairly upset re the last visit from 'unwelcome visitor' and the affect it had.

However, that's done and dusted now. Hopefully.

I am typing this and saving it and just waiting til internet kicks in again.

Have thoroughly loved your posts, loving the banter as always and the pics, tho .......... I'm not too good on feet!!!!:eek: Especially hairy ones!!! Aaaarrrgh!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Love to all as always. Alf xxxxx :)

It says on invoice Prizes Promotions, I don't know where it's from, maybe a daily? At least I'm back on the winning sofa! :D it was too cold and lonely on the losing chair! :p

Good to hear from you Alfie :kisses3: glad you're safe and warm :)
I don't like feet either! Not even my own! _pale_

Well done wingo! It's good to win something you need :)

I hope that winning chair has a lot of seats because my losing stool is getting pretty uncomfortable!!

Haha. Safe and warm days to all.

Thats great wingo - well done!

Nice to see you Alfie - must be annoying that the internet keeps going off. I have changed mine to BT and if it does go off it is back on in a second or two where as my Plus net one took ages and went off a few times a day. Don't know if it was my router or the connection. DS3 really pleased as he is a "gamer"
Thinking of having a day trip to Arran if weather is OK and staying near Ayr when we get back. It would be something different but will have to wait and see. Prices in Arran look expensive anyway!

Helicopter flight over snow-covered Isle of Arran

    25 March 2013 Last updated at 12:34
Thousands of homes are still without power and many roads remain impassable after severe weather affected much of the UK over the weekend.
The isle of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland, endured snowy blizzards leaving 1,500 residents without power.
A BBC News helicopter flew over the area to assess efforts to restore power and road communications.

Great pics ILC. Yes I saw Arran on news - think Broddick is clear now which is as far as we would get without a car. No electricity though.
Just had a phone call from DDs new workplace and they have just got their electricity back on from Friday. DD has got plenty of work for the first week of holidays anyway and expect the second will be similar. She needs something to do in the holidays or she gets really painfull.
