Aw sheils that's a shame about your Arran win seems to still be bad there.
My cousin finally got home from Campbeltown this afternoon, just off phone to her, she had emailed her husband and her boss on the Friday saying she was OK but stuck there.....they, however only got the emails today :eek: They finally got power with a generator on Sunday night but the hotel was out of food by then.
Needless to say she was very glad to be home

Jodie+Matt - loved reading your story and well done on that big win. The main thing is that you enjoy comping otherwise there is no pleasure in it really. Hope you win something soon, as you say even the little things keep you going.

Have cleaned all the lounge/hall/kitchen and leaving the bedrooms until tomorrow (maybe)! It is trying very hard to snow here but hope it doesn't settle as we want to travel to DD's later in the week if there end clears up.

Alfie - glad you are OK was getting a bit worried as hadn't heard from you for a while.

Evening,well done on the wins. I have had a busy weekend at work and am full of cold..not nice in this weather. We have been lucky down here no snow just bitterly cold.I hope the weather changes for everyone soon,sure we could do with some sunshine now.Winter has been tooooooo long.

Sheils - Hope you can use your win. It would be shame not been able to use it. I've got a Pizza Express win that I can't use as it needs to be used by 1st April our nearest one is Hull and with LO being around I've not been out of town yet. Voucher is for 2 classic pizzas to be used Monday to Thursday. Can't even offer it to someone on here as it's against the rules.

Alfie - Glad you're okay. Internet problems are a pain.

Emmap - Hope you don't get sick aswell. I had it last year and it's awful though my OH didn't get it all so fingers crossed.

Well, OH showed that guy around the house yesterday. He seemed keen but not heard anything today at all. So not getting my hopes up but trying to stay positive.

I won a DreamWorks Cuddly Toy today. LO will love it!

Still awaiting the THX wave Hello tongues I won on 25th Jan. Have contacted them a few times and about 3 weeks ago they said they were being posted that day. Have a parcel waiting for us at PO which was described as a long tube so thought they had arrived. However I have just had an email saying they are not getting any in stock for another 3 months and would I accept a different on 19mm instead of 32mm (ithink). I have replied saying how disappointed I am as they are much smaller diameter and clearly for shorter hair and see what they suggest.

We have shepherd's pie for tea am really hungry.

I didn't get the date I asked for to start with so I doubt I would get different tickets. Visit Scotland would be given so many tickets for each date I would think. Over 2 years ago I missed out on a mini cruise to Amsterdam because of snow so its not as bad as that.

Well done on the Dreamworks win nicole. It took me ages to use a Pizza Express I won as we don't have one near either. Hope you are lucky with the house.

Thank you for all the welcomes it was really touching to think somebody cared enough to do that for our dd, it came in a gift box with tissue lining it, I know it wasn't a comp but it definitely felt like we'd won something. Like I said I'm definitely all for the little bits and bobs, im very easily pleased lol. I'm loving reading everyone's sigs and seeing their wins.
