Sounds like the snow has really taken its toll on most of you. I've seen some pics on fb too of how deep places are! We are lucky not to have any snow, just bitterly cold and gale force winds. There's been a few trees blew down here & there.
Just been to gymnastics with the girls but glad to be warm indoors now!
I've been sneezing non stop too ILC this morning but I don't feel full of cold, it's probably this house!

Sylvia, don't worry I didn't take any offence about the kitchen, my hubby really needs to get his backside into gear or I'll be moving out instead! he just starts something and never finishes it but I can't live without a kitchen ceiling and bare brick walls showing for months on end! If I could post a pic of how it looks I would, you wouldn't believe it! I can't seem to get Photobucket to work on iPad properly.

Your post made me laugh walwin, singing ging gang goolie! calor gas is quite expensive, we have one for when boiler is on the blink!

Anybody getting cracked heels?

Although am ped-egging, E45'ing, paraffin gelling them and l'occy them I am getting a deep painful crack!!

Have them soaking in a salt n vinegar mix just now.

Any tips?

Had a nice walk in the sunshine - walking on the roads as pavements are still covered with snow. There is water running and dripping everywhere. Had to dig a path to the washing line too but it was worth it as the washing is dry. Have dug out from the path to the road and made a space for the postvan to park tomorrow incase he has any big prizes to bring in :rotfl:

Haven't won anything but .....I've heard a rumour that Ant & Dec are re-releasing Let's Get Ready To Rhumble! :T am I the only sad one who really enjoyed watching them on Sat Night Takeaway? I thought it was brilliant how they performed it again!

I love the "There was a Hole" song too ILC! My DD had this on CD along with, there's a hole in my bucket, never smile at a crocodile and I don't wanna go to bed! :rotfl:

My !!!!!! of a postie parked the van opposite my house and was there for ages on Friday. Was trying not to look out of the window but sneaked a few peeks then he drove off! Disappointed doesn't even cover it!

Here's hoping we all get something fun through the post on Monday :j

I'm brand new in here, so thought I should just drop in and say hi! I guess I got the comping bug when I was 15 and won a competition to have my t-shirt design sold on Ben & Jerrys, since then I haven't done any "serious comping" but just here and there, and ended up winning a fair bit. I've won a book, two tickets to see take that, and the full collection of olympic stamps.

It wasn't until I had a little bit more time on my hand and I found this board, did I think "all of those were done as a bit of fun" and thought - why not? And I can get involved in some forum-fun too!
