Morning everyone :hello:
Sorry I missed the wine and chocolates last night, sylv
Hope you're all well and keeping warm. No more snow here but bitterly cold and still really windy.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for no power cuts here. We do get a lot and the last major one we had lasted two days. We don't have gas here so it really makes life difficult. We bought a calor gas heater after we experienced our first cut here and during the last one we went and bought a double burner camping stove so at least we can have a hot drink and something hot to eat. Makes me feel like singing Ging Gang Goolie when we use it
Have a lovely day everyone :A0 -

Morning all. Hope everyone is surviving the weather.
Walwin, I remember well my many years living in Argyll where we often had power cuts, had to have my gas fire and wee camping stove!
Cousin is still stuck in Campbeltown although part of the road has been cleared this morning so hoping she gets home soon. Her boss and her boss's boss have been in touch with her husband by email but nothing else they can do, at least she is staying in the best hoteleven if there is no power or telephones
Still no way to contact her though.
Like the snowman joke ILC
2 GDs were told they would be doing a wee gymnastics demonstration at their local sports centre for Wills & Kate in a couple of weeks, then their teacher had to cut the numbers and the younger one isn't doing it nowShe is gutted wee soul.
However her spirits have been lifted by the purchase of her dress for her Prom (leaving Primary) and DD says she is happily swishing around the house in it and has text me pics

You sound as bad as me ILC - pass the tissues.
Hope the snow keeps away from you Walwin and you don't get any power cuts. We have been known to get them but we are near the power station so they don't usually last long.
We have dug ourselves out to the road - not that far but with heavy snow it takes ages. We are at a corner of a juction and peeps haven't been going up the hill so one man is trying to clear that so that he can get out with his car. Snow plough has been on our street but didn't go up the hill- road is just covered in ice now (but melting)
Hope you are OK FF.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Saw this pic and thought it was good, hope the naughty word is allowed!
Firefly - sounds like you have it bad where you are, my DD2 sent me a pic and its to the top of here garden wall.
Sheils - lets hope the sun melts the snow soon so you can get out and hope the lecie stays on for you.
Walwin - sounds like you have got it all sorted if there is a power cut. I just about know where to put my hands on the candles and matches!
Wingo - hope you manage to get out to take the kids to the gym but if you are like us there is now sign of snow here. Have a good day. Hope you didn't take offense about what I said about the kitchen, its just that if I suggest spending money my hubby will then get a shifty on as he doen't like spending unless he has to. Think most men are like that. Hugs anyway and hope you get it sorted soon it must be driving you round the bend.
iluvcats -you mentioned you had a cold yesterday - are you any better today?
Must get on, only just got up as couldn't sleep again last night/this morning.

EmmaP - Thanks for the heads up on RoboForm on the iPad. I just upgraded to it and was pleased to hear that I could use in on Android and iPad but if it doesn't work, then I won't bother. What's the issue with it?
.
I just found it incredibly glitchy and difficult to get the hang of. Might just be me but I actually found it less annoying to just fill in a ton of forms. I'd still give it a go and see what you think? Would be nice to see if I'm just being silly or if it is actually a frustrating app
Thinking warm thoughts for all of you trapped by snow. Have a hot chocolate on me! :coffee:Debt free 6th December 2014
