Hi all
I'm new to compers inn. What a fab bunch you all are. Loving the pics too. I can normally be found on the slimming world forum and i wondered if any of you have some slimming pics you can share with me to post there?
Welcome jillI should be slimming, but eating far too much to compensate for cold weather
Broke my pelvis last year and hav to walk out everyday. It does me good and am walking fine now and enjoy the exercise but would love some tips cos I really need to lose some weight. Have no more excuses!
Everyone, sorry, I have to get back and thank. Internet crap as always!!!!
Will get back and thank in a mo.
Wingo: my friend - I do hope your dd is ok now. Bless her. I can recall years back when me kids were sick, as a mum it is always gutty and believe me - it dont get any easier!!!! Mine are now 30+ and I still worry  Guess its a lifelong thing
Loving the pics, took me down memory lane!!!!!
I can recall me mum using a washbooard and mangle.
I can recall her then getting a hoover washing machine with mangle?? If my memory serves me right, and washing was done every monday without fail, whatever the weather  Hoover was blooming good, my mum was still using it till she passed away in her 90's!!!!
When I was first married, it was washing by hand for some years cos we could not afford a machine machine then some kind soul gave us a second hand washing machine with tube that stuck up the tap and we thought we were in seventh heaven!!!!!! Fond days!!!!
I learnt to type on a manual typewriter many years ago and when electric typewriters appeared - my god it was scary!!!!!
I too have VHS - with instructions how to use it from the kids
When I was at school, calculators weren't around, so you had to use your brain!!!
Still thnk of them as happy days. :)xxxxxx
Cat nip is still fondly used by my wee girl!!! She loves it!!!!:D
Snowy and blooming freezing here :eek:
Love and hugs to all, hope you are all well. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.
I got bouquets of flowers, cards, chocolates and wine - thoroughly pampered, love to my kids. Had a wonderful weekend. Back to basics now.Take care all. xxxxxxxxxxx

Glad you had a lovely mothers day too Alfie
I still have an old typewriter in the cupboard!I kept it when we got our first computer for my DD to learn to type, didn't need it though!
My mum used to bath my bro in the twin tub too as he was always mucky and it was easier than filling the big tin bath! It was a nightmare at sunday night bathtime as all five of us would have to bath in the big tin bath and you could guarantee one of my bro's would poop in the bath so he could have the bath to himself! Mam got wise to him and just scooped it out an made us get back in! I still have nightmares over it! :rotfl:
Sylvia, I think you have been taken off my fb too as I went to share something with you and couldn't find you! Will check again just now!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

New comp on Woman's Weekly with the question "What do you measure the height of in - Hands/inches/metres?" Fred says he will have to write to Findus for the answer!
Katie - Sorry there were not more people at you Coffee Group today, the cold weather probably kept them indoors.
Wingo - I am back on now (naughty Fred doing too many shares again I expect)BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0
