Glad you had a lovely mothers day too Alfie :)
I still have an old typewriter in the cupboard! :o I kept it when we got our first computer for my DD to learn to type, didn't need it though!
My mum used to bath my bro in the twin tub too as he was always mucky and it was easier than filling the big tin bath! It was a nightmare at sunday night bathtime as all five of us would have to bath in the big tin bath and you could guarantee one of my bro's would poop in the bath so he could have the bath to himself! Mam got wise to him and just scooped it out an made us get back in! I still have nightmares over it! :rotfl:

Sylvia, I think you have been taken off my fb too as I went to share something with you and couldn't find you! Will check again just now!

lol - yep, them were the days!!!! I can recall at my Grandma's (many many years back) they had china potties under their beds!!! Can't recall what they were called, was it gazunders??? Can recall however I used to hold everything in :o:eek::eek: lol!!!!

Joking apart, I still have fond memories of them days. :):)

They were fun, not complicated and childhood was wonderful, so many happy memories, freedom, fun, going off with picnics with a gang of wee friends, exploring, taking in the outdoors without fear, playing with haystacks, making dens, able to run free, enjoying the outside, without any interference. Returning home happy and tired, ready for another day of adventure the next day. :) Parents had no worries, we were safe and sooo happy. I can recall those days well. Happy happy days :) xxxxx

    loving the pics iluvcats.

Becks - WELL done on you win. Regarding the comp tickets, Thats what I thought. I wasn't on self service either. I did ask the lady on self serve and she said I should have been given one. When I went back to the tills she grudgingly gave me one. Thats the second time as well, they are usually really nice in there but must admit I usually try and go to 1 or 2 ladies I really like.

What a fab pic Firefly - love it.

Just been doing the dreaded puzzlemag monthly comps, usually very slow but good going tonight I must have picked a time when everyone else is watching TV

Fred's DD2 has crashed her car on the M25 but thankfully is OK and the car is not too bad. She skidded on ice and hit the central reservation then shot across the lanes onto the hard shoulder. Thankfully she missed the other cars and is just shook up.

It is very icy here as well as we have a covering of snow that has froze. Take care everyone if you are going out.
