Sheils, if DD says they are fashionable you can be sure you won't have them for long, they have a habit of disappearing somehow. Bed you find them in her bedroom.

Firefly - snow has gone here too and managed to dry a line of washing as it was lovely and sunny and windy.

Must try and do my weekly mag comps now before I get behind on those as well.

    Compers days are never ending.

Scary really, the early ones didn't even have a remote.

Children today would think it was odd renting a VHS film!

Fantastic Sheils. Yes I learned to type on one of those and Pitmans Shorthand is also a thing of the past.

My sister asked what a blu-ray was! She still has a VHS machine.

    Loving the pics.

I remember my Granny making the Christmas puddings in the old boiler in the outhouse.

  • Sounds like everyone had a nice mother's day. My day started off with a little card from my LO (courtesy of OH as LO is only 3 months old), got breakfast in bed. Got LO ready and took her to mums as we had to clear out OH's dad house as its now sold. Three trips to the tip and still some stuff to move tomorrow as we hand over the keys at 1.
Strange thing was that someone had been into the house and some of the wallpaper had been taken off but that's it. I know the paperwork is signed but the handover is not until Monday so I don't know how why the buyer has been to the property (they shouldn't have the keys yet). I know he doesn't have the money anymore but neither do we as it's still with the solicitors and they won't release it until the handover date which is tomorrow at 1pm!
Anyways after the trips to the tip, went home got changed and went back to mums for a lovely meal cook by my stepdad. Lovely! LO had been an angel up until 10 minutes before we got there and she had trying to latch on my mums breasts for her dinner and was crying the house down lol I doubt she'd get any joy as mum has had surgery and radiotherapy on her breasts and she's menopausal. Got mum's dove giftset in the post on Saturday and mum was pleased with it. :D

It started snow here but it's gone now! Tho I wish the artic winds would go. It's freezing.
