Happy belated birthday sheils, glad you had a good one. Mine was the 5th and I had to cook my own meal...lol. But I did have a couple of glasses of wine.Work has been busy so well behind with comps although have had a win this week with daily mags. Father brown DVD and the post office has also contacted me after being on the list for nearly a year. To be honest I can't really remember what I have to do now..lol. But she is sending me with an e-mail to refresh my memory and the pack will come in the post.

Evening everyone

First March win for me today with Delirium book arriving in the post, which lots of us have won I see.

Well first session teaching OH how to use his tablet slightly stressful as he is a complete beginner on the internet :eek:

However set him a project to search for ebooks for our readers for going away as that would get him familiar with browsing. Worked well and he enjoyed it. Proof of the pudding will be when he tries again tomorrow if he can remember what he learnt today :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Off to do some more comps, seem to have been lots of new posts today.

What a day, went for lunch with Fred and Sister, They for got the peas and on my Sisters meal and forgot the salad on mine. Then to make matters worse all the steaks we almost raw, mine I was only able to eat around the edges. There was only one poor lad bringing all the meals and clearing tables so didn't like to complain.


WORSE than that I get's home and go on my laptop to find my bt eamil had been hacked and BT had closed it down. The upshot of it all was that we both had a trojen on our laptops and it cost £160 for Microsoft to put them both right, it took and hour and a half to sort them both out. They said that windows 7 was vunerable to this and they have now installed C cleaner and when my nortan security expires they will put their security and we wont have to pay any more as its a one off payment to Microsoft and they will sort out any future problems we may have as well.

I have been beyond myself with worry but did not have a choice as they wouldn't reconnect my BT account until the problems had been resolved.

Well done on your wins today folks. Sorry I have read through but my brain is mashed so will catch up with you all tomorrow. Was going to get new glasses today but glad I didn't with having to pay out all that money.
