Morning!!!!! Just flicking in and out again, internet is off on one again!!!!

My thanks kept disappearing and had to keep refreshing.

My only disaster last night (just as I was settled down on the settee to watch tv) was ........ an unfortunate incident with my (large:o) bag of Red Nose Day maltesers!!!! Yanked open the top and they shot all over the floor :eek::eek: Cat thought it was an excellent game - biffing them all over the lounge and me scrabbling around on me hands and knees trying to retrieve them!!!! Ho hum :rotfl::rotfl:

Morning everyone,

Beautiful morning here - sun is shining through the bedroom window already! Will be making our way slowly home through the Lakes after breakfast. We have to buy some "Higginsons" pies before we go too as both DH and DS think there is nothing like them. Save me cooking tonight anyway.

Morning all, it's a beautiful day here, dry and sunny, I think Finlay wonders what that thing is in the sky, he hasn't really seen it before.

I won a Bakers golden dog bowl on Sunday evening and said to DH that I would see which dog deserved it most, then last night I won another one, so they can now have one each.

Hope your washer comes today Sylvia, you've had enough disappointments over it.

You've reminded me Alfie that we haven't eaten the Maltesers Christmas Pudding that I won, have to make a start on that later

Enjoy your pies sheils, I love a decent pie. Loving the pics on Facebook, looks like you're enjoying yourselves.

It's very cold here too fire**fly. DD is snuggled up next to me as she's been sick again through the night and this morning. Hope we don't get snow again as its cold enough for it!

WASHING MACHINE CAME AT 8.30. No wonder they kept me waiting its gone down £50 since I won it. We are thrilled with it anyway, just hope it goes in the space we have as old one is a tight fit and this is a little wider. Had an email back from the mag about the curry with a copy to Patak's saying if they didnt sort it today they would pass it to their legal team. Just hope its here b4 Easter as have promised it to the SIL as he loves cooking curries.

LM - lovely to hear how Dexter is doing, he will be crawling before you know it. Has he got any teeth coming through yet? Good luck with the poetry comp.

Firefly - loved the Spring timer. Very cold here but lovely and sunny now.

Sheils - glad you are having a lovely time, take care driving home won't you. Hope you enjoy your pies. Fred does all the comps for pies. He used to be a butcher and we made all our own pies, it was hectic at Christmas doing all the stand pies.

B.Sue - well done on the dog bowl win. Must have missed that comp, is it an instant one?

Wingo - sorry to hear your DD is poorly again, she really has a rough time of it doesn't she. Hope she feels better soon.

Wingo please please please don't let Jasper eat grapes. Grapes and raisins are very toxic to dogs and can cause kidney failure
