I'm struggling to keep my eyes open here! Mustn't fall asleep now, I'll never get kids to bed!
Just had parents evening and teacher has given son extra maths homework as he is above level and ready for secondary school. Son is not too impressed mind but I'll have to reassure him it will be worth it in the end.

Sounds like everyone has had a good day - well done all. We had a beautiful day and visited quite a few coastal places on the outskirts of the lakes. Going to Conniston tomorrow on the way home.We have just been out for a Chinese which was yummy! Didn't want to stay out late incase we got lost getting back to our hotel which is up a windy road and no street lights at the top. (DH took a torch just in case) The internet keeps disconnecting but we aren't supposed to get in the bedrooms anyway so can't complain.

Hey everyone.:wave: Hope you're all okay.

Dex is now three months old and giggling and smiling away.Hehe.

I'm exhausted and struggling with the M.E. I have my CPN on Wednesday, health visitor on Thursday and then Dentist on Friday. CPN and health visitor are at home and very understanding of me when I'm in my PJs because I don't have the energy to see them AND get dressed. It's one or the other. Stupid condition.

Ooo some good news. I'm one of 50 finalists in a poetry competition. The first prize is either a publishing contract or £1000. However, the finalists have to read their poems at a grand slam to be eligible to win. It's in Peterborough which is about 3.5 hours away. I really want to go as it's such a big opportunity but I don't know if I'll be able to handle the drive there and have the energy to stand up in front of so many people (not to mention the crippling anxiety). Sigh. We shall see.
