Alfie, I have done the whistle thing too years ago when I was getting heavy breathing calls :eek: Mmm must be a whistle in this house somewhere!

Find yon whistle ellemm - it works a treat!!!

Failing cat and whistle, (though that usually works) I just put the fone on the table, let them gabble away on their own (their bill) and they soon get bored and disappear!!! It's not worth me answering them, they are a nuisance, I can't understand them most of the time, they are annoying - particularly the times they ring!

I can always tell when it's a nuisance call. :eek:

Like I say, don't get so many nowadays - they must be wary of me!!!! I must be on a list of: 'don't go to this one - weirdo'!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I keep getting number 1 as the thunderball on A LUCKY DIP and it never comes out when I do it ! Missed 2 draws and low n behold it came out!!!! Spooky or what?

Overslept again today but thankfully Fred was up and did my first Times comps for me. Egg timer now in position so should be OK now.

Alfie, I used to have a whistle near phone when I lived at home. Dad was getting harassed by an ex work colleague who was sacked and he blamed dad as he was boss. We didn't know it was him at first but police were involved as he would say horrible dirty things and that he could see me etc. :eek: it was very scary but it didn't stop mum and dad going to pub and leaving me on my own! police suggested whistle.
Now when I get nuisance sales calls I pretend to go into coughing fit and they get annoyed!

Wingo - that is such good new for you, I wish you all the luck in the world. Well done.

Little red van pull up with a parcel - its the honey stuff that Fred won. There is a jar of natural honey and 3 little tea caddies with different Chinese teas in them and a drawstring bag ( which was supposed to be silk but is hessian with a chinese symbol on - rather nice). We are keeping it for our present box for Christmas/Birthdays etc as we are sure someone will love it and its too nice to use.

Good luck with the Times comp everyone, could do with a bigger TV!
