Chips sound good FF, would be much healthier for my chip loving OH

I hate those calls too sheils, I am quite rude but OH engages them in conversation :eek: and is very polite.

So pleased with my Look win today, nice hotel stay, might use it when we go to Rome, get a really posh hotel

Having a wee Martini Bianco for a change tonight, reminds me of pavement cafes in warmer climes and a bit of people watching.

I had someone phone me for a survey yesterday afternoon,I answered the first two as she had only 3 questions to ask me, she said to me I was being so kind to her,then I thought about it and said I couldnt do anymore and put my phone down.I didnt even give her time to reply :rotfl:

Putting the phone down isn't working FF - this woman phones about everyday except Sun I think. Wonder what she will say next time.
DD answered once to the Scottish firm that wants to change your energy suppliers etc. She thought it was DS2 messing about and started chatting away. Think the guy thought he had got someone loopy and hung up.
DS3 answered one the other day and thought they said they were from the British Embassy but he still put phone down. They were saying British Energy:D Can't even make them out most of the time
and none of them can pronounce our surname.

i'm on TPS sheils & it does stop a lot of unwanted calls

if being polite & asking them nicely to stop pestering you every day doesn't work i would just put the phone down each time i recognised her voice after she'd started talking,
sounds like DD had a good way of dealing with them

TPS used to work quite well but seem to get loads of foreign calls and green energy firm calls now. DD acts really silly with them sometimes which is quite amusing.
