Evening everyone, seems like a few wins in the Inn today, well done winners and fingers crossed for those still waiting

I got 3 books in the post and an eyeshadow palette from Stella comp so well pleased. Books are earmarked for 2year old GD, an avid "reader" and her older cousin will devour the other one- she is like her Mum and her Granny, always got her nose in a book :rotfl:

Finally got my curry made, tried a new recipe, Parsi Chicken with Apricots, more sweet and sour that hot but very nice anyway and plenty left for tomorrow.

OH made do with a steak sandwich or steak "piece" as we would call it in Scotland :rotfl:

Firefly - well done on the DVD win.

Had salmon, cauliflower, carrots and rice followed by strawberries and yoghurt tonight.

Red card today for 2 jiffy bags, think its Fred's Disney win from before Christmas as they sent an email saying 2 packets were coming. Will have to wait until Monday now to go for it.

Haven't done many comps today so will have to get a shifty on.

Didn't chance ordering groceries online. Surprisingly my nearest supermarket (Morrisons) had loads of stocks of bread/milk/fruit n veg etc. (oddly more than on a normal week!)

The Yaktrax are a godsend as gives you the confidence to walk safely in the snow!!! (have to slip them off when inside)



Such a relief to have got in some milk / bread / Earl-grey (though have The Earl-grey which tastes a bit weird!)

Completely off topic, OH has just done food, no tartare sauce so I suggested he use the Pineapple & Pear mustard I bought from the Royal Welsh his reply "Where the F*** did you win that from" :rotfl::rotfl:

am hoping delivery gets through tomorrow ILC, supposed to be coming in the morning but we've had loads of snow all day,
expect they'll text/phone us if they can't deliver :eek:

Firefly - talking about Tesco not delivering. In the village where my DD lives their road is on a steep hill but their is a grass bank so her DH arranges to wait at the top of the bank with the sledge and they ferry it down on that. Where there is a will there is a way so they say. Hope yours comes tomorrow for you.

It has been snowing on and off here all evening so preparing to get up to more in the morning.

Have done quite a bit of catching up now thanks Firefly just like to keep a bit ahead in case the GK's come and I get busy.

Have made some SOUP - spinnach and sweet potato ready for tomorrow so thats lunch sorted, just need to get the slow cooker on and will be set up for the Times hourly. Wonder if they are having one on Sunday as well?

Hope everyone gets their deliveries OK! It is making me feel cold watching all the snow on the news. We had a dusting of snow earlier on and DD and her pals got excited but it didn't last and is gone now.
