Morning all, we've had about 3 inches of snow overnight, just enough to make it difficult to get about
Not that I plan on going anywhere. They have forecast more for us tomorrow. DH managed to get home from work this morning okay but had to abandon the car down on the main road as the hill up to out road was too slippery.
Been out with the dogs, Cooper was a little s*d and just wouldn't come back when it was time to come home. I had to leave DH over there with him because Finlay was getting cold. It's so annoying because when he eventually does come back you have to tell him he's a good boy when you really feel like giving him a good slap! (not that I would ever do that). It just gets really frustrating. Not setting a great example for the pup either.
DD is going for a Spa Day today with her friend, or at least they're going to attempt it if the roads are okay, fingers crossed.
Have a good day all xxLuck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Hello everyone.
Hope you are all managing to keep warm. Quite a bit of snow in East Anglia.
Looks as if we have had lots of lovely wins in the inn.
Hope your DD manages to get to and from her spa day Sue.
Postie delivered an alarm clock this morning from a Radox comp- needed a new one so very pleased. Its my 1st win of the year:j
Keep safe and warm.Be Lucky Everyone0 -
We have about 4 - 5" snow here. Lottie usually doesn't want to go out but loves the snow. Only problem was when I threw her ball to her it went down in the snow and she couldn't get it out which annoyed her.
FF - Only a couple of days for soup maker to come.
Wingo - your poor DD has it rough doesn't she. Hope she will soon feel better.
Sheils - Your postie comes early, glad you got your wins, you do right to stash them away for yourself, if you are like me you give everything away if you think they want it.
B.Sue - sounds like Cooper loves the snow. Don't suppose you have a coat for Finlay while he is small - ish? Somehow people don't like to put a coat on big dogs for some reason but they still feel the cold especially nowadays when the houses are kept so warm.
Well must get on and do some hoovering then some comps.
SYLBIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Fred is asking if anyone has noticed that on Pick me up daily - the weight watches hot choc comp has been suspended? Seems a bit odd.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0

Morning everyone, late start again today

Thanks to SueMaggie for posting Times comp, my number 1 would like to win.
Still nice and clear here, hope everyone is surviving the snow elsewhere, I remember what it was like here a couple of years ago when we had heavy snow just before Christmas and it stayed on the ground till well into January.
We had spent a very pleasant (and warm) Christmas & New Year in Crete but were warned by DD when heading home that weather here was still bad. We got to Athens and although our flight to Heathrow was OK, we wouldn't get the connecting flight to Glasgow as all flights to Scotland cancelled as airports closed
Turned out by the time we got to London all airports to the north were closed but BA at least were putting on coaches to get everyone home. However we did have to hang about for hours before the coach was full and we could get going- then an 8 hour journey to Glasgow-nightmare. So can sympathise with those folk camping in airports I saw this morning on the news.
Not much planned for today, wee wander round the shops maybe, be lucky

Just been very good and cleared and salted all the paths and took both dogs out.
Thanks FireFly - saw Cornish's post just after I had asked.
Well done on the win Bishopgirl.
Snow is coming down heavily here now so looks as if we might be in for a bad time. What's it like where you are Wingo as you are not all that far from here really. They have snow in Hartlepool where Sister is but not too bad by the sound of it.
Glad your food came FireFly
SYLBIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
It's just been the same for the last few days here Sylvia, a few inches of snow, it keeps snowing on and off but the roads are getting a bit slippy.
I was my youngest who was full of cold last night Syl
she seems fine now and wants to play on sledge! So gonna take her to my dads on sledge as its his bday today.
Well done on your win bishopsgirl :T
Loving the snowman pics, it's great that we can all share the snow!
my garden looks just like everyone else's now
Cooper sounds like he loves the snow too Sue
we've just been laughing at jasper, he was wanting to go play in the garden and when we looked out on him he was sat on back door step with a big lump of snow on his nose that must of fell off the roof! :rotfl:
I sold my first item on eBay and made a big blooper by putting free delivery. It cost me £15.30 to deliver it
I wanted the money for sons bay present so thought it would sell better by free delivery! (oh well...I'll learn next time!
)
Have a great day everyone
be safe in the snow xx Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0
