    For next time..

I have always managed to get "Kwik Fit" to price match, be it a local independant garage, or blackcircles etc. Really depends on the tyre & how many your buying.

I would travel the country, so having a place local which i can take the car too if i had a problem was essential.

For future reference, the rear tracking of most run of the mill hatchbacks is NOT adjustable. :)

    Ditto.

And make that most hatchbacks, sedans, estates, convertibles, coupes and MPVs. ;)

Except my Proton Impian, which has true 4 wheel adjustment and Lotus engineered suspension. :p

Inherited from its Mitsubishi underpinnings :)

Didn't think the Impian was new enough for Lotus involvement?

My advice would be to find a local tyre specialist, the one all the taxi drivers probably go to.

Avon tyre's might be a good choice, premium brand, not too shabby, not too expensive.
