MSE News: BMI frequent flyers must transfer points to BA

Did you solve the problem? As I am having the same problem!
As there seems to be no way of contacting them, I have rung mbna 3 times.
First phone call they said they had nothing to do with it,
second time they gave me a phone number (which turned out to be the british airways phone number),
third phone call, they have now forwarded my queries to the marketing department (bit confused why) for them to get back to me within 5 to 7 working days.
I have been looking for a way on contacting them for hours. I just want my reward points, then I shall be cancelling my cards

Hi there
I got the BMI credit card for the 20k free points, and have pretty much ignored it since then - will my points have gone, or can I still rescue them?!
Many thanks!0 -
Seems it's worth persisting with the diamond club. Just received a letter telling me that I now get 2 points per pound spent on the Amex card and 1 point per pound on the Visa. The Amex reward is better than BA's own Premium Plus Amex card (1.5 points per mile) and the Visa reward the same as the BA normal Amex.0
