Well wishes for sick people and pets and heartfelt sympathy and prayers for the family of missing little April.
Music has just put succinctly what I was struggling to try and say. (Bad brainfog this morning).

Dave is not in good odour with me this morning - he had me up at 02:30, and when I investigated what was wrong, it turned out he just wanted to play! Not at that sort of time, Matey!

I've just remembered, I need to make an apple crumble at some point today, so maybe I should go and do that before I forget again.;)

ETA: BB posted the pic of Maud while I was typing - aww, bless her, she looks so sweet! Extra healing vibes on their way for her.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • bargainbird aww bless her, she does look poorly, sending plenty of healing vibes her way x

Sunny here to-day with a chill in the air....have just washed bedlinen, not sure if I will hang it out or over banisters as would be spitting mad if I had to wash it again if it falls off line.

Dinner to-day will be lamb chops, butternut squash and baked spuds...might make a chocolate cake as DGS2 will be here and he loves chocolate cake....would not be bothered myself!

Need to make bed before I go for DGS as if not I might forget and then have to do it when I am going to bed to-night...has happened a few times and really annoys me...have swimming to-night and am always shattered.

Saw April's mother on tv last night, the poor woman, I hope that April is found safe and well, looks unlikely now unfortunately. About her being out at 7pm, hindsight is 20/20 vision

Back later, hugs to all who might need them to get through the day

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Hugs for all the poorlies
My thoughts and prayers are with April, so sad

Had a lovely day withmy db and SIL yesterday and a nice lunch. Saw the funeral procession for the poor police lady you could have heard a pin drop in the centre of a very busy town like Manchester. My daughters company and a lot of others cam outside to show their respects as the cortège passed by.

This morning was Ww and then popped in the charity shops and picked up a nice pair of linen pants for my hols. Managed to walk one way but had to get on the bus coming back with my dodgy knee.
Tea tonight is fish and salad. Have built up a few pounds in PayPal which will hopefully buy some more Christmas presents.

Anyway need to pack up some more parcels. Have a good day all J x

Not sure of your DDs age, mine is 20 and now gets all her shoes from Clarks (I pay!) They have some really nice shoes and boots in and they last for ages.

Had a successful trip to homebase this morning. Had reserved a light for the kitchen which was already half price, only one left on the shelf with a battered box which they sold me to me for half price so only paid a quarter of what they were originally charging :money: checked item and its in mint condition just box is a bit battered. Bargain :)
