Misskool. I want an old dress makers dummy for such a purpose. A mannnkin with arms outspread could be funny if you like to laugh and don't mind being watched in bed.

    For lir (bathroom chandeliers):

    Or Gustavian makes them:

You need to speak to nice builder on this one. There are restrictions on lighting that can be used in a bathroom in this country that may not exist in other countries (such as US).

About half way down were the things Lakeland sold during my time there. If you don't find anything in the meantime, I'll have a look online tomorrow (bit of a pain on phone). In my Lakeland days I would have looked back through the old catalogues and searched the online stock system to see if there were any lurking anywhere :)

Yes Nikki, those are the ones! As Gen found, these only seem to get sold in industrial quantities.

I made a special journey to Lakeland at BrentX to (fail to) get them. The traffic was impossible, so I parked a mile away and walked.

Lakeland is one of those shops that's not really meant for me. My wife came with me to Screwfix today, and I said that I would get her anything in the shop that she wanted. She tried really hard, but found nothing. We went on to Lidl, where I found a tap and die set. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Getting my posh alerts in (hope you are ok PN).

Have been channelling Nigel Slater this afternoon - combined with Ready Steady Cook. Cooking up the random things lurking in the fridge that really needed something doing with.

I have cooked up a Jerusalem Artichoke. I don't think I've ever cooked one before - bought as it was 2/3 off.

Made up a pasta sauce with leftover chicken, some bacon, some pretty sad looking sliced mushrooms (they were 20p so I fell for them), a courgette that didn't make it into the courgette cake, a red pepper which has been lurking for a while and the half a tub of cream which was also left over from cake-making. Bit of chilli, just because, and I was quite impressed with the result. Looking forward to the meals I use that in.

And on to tonights dinner - trout with stir fry (more ageing veg) and noodles. Trout was also a yellow-sticker buy a few days ago (too long ago to be able to freeze). I'm trying to eat more fish, but it is rarely my first choice. There always seems to be a lot going cheap in Sainsbury's though so I guess I'll be eating more of it.

Looking back, I'm not sure whether that would get a posh alert or not - there were some posh ingredients, but everything had been reduced to clear. Some of it was from Waitrose if that helps :)

They don't have those brown ones in loaf shapes, but they have some small loaf tins (think they might be quite small!)...
