There is so much asthma around that I've never thought much of it, but I was !!!! scared. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Doozer, OF COURSE you wanted and NEEDED H. No issues here with that, please put any concern over that out of your mind.

There is no question in my mind that a dad outranks a builder when you are so sick. No question at all.

    ..I was ..
My mother had that, I was working in the building where she'd gone for her test results and so was called in while she had the news delivered. It was advanced and they literally whisked her immediately upstairs for surgery and she got a bag.

    Any form of C isn't good :(

On a brighter note, it's my birthday today, so I'll be heading off out this evening

    CK
You must be older than me then as your birthday is before mine :)

Happy birthday, hope your evening's as good as it can be.

A big part of my stocking filler from dh has arrived. I am opening the different elements to decide which to keep out to use before then :). I am guessing this is quite going against the Christmassy way to do things.

As I think I have already mentioned, my mum got what is her nominal 'Christmas present' (we don't really do presents, for Christmas or birthday) in October and has been using it since. Bah humbug!

    :D

    Makes sense really. :)

I chose the part I will use (it's a few months supply of the stuff I no-poo my hair with, but some new scents) and will leave the rest for dh to put in my stocking:D

Am I the only person about this evening? :)

I woke up feeling pretty darn good today. I even got make up on. Not so l
Ong ago I would have thought a day without make up was ....weird, but it's become norm ATM. :(. Anyway, today it was NoT one of those days. I have almost caught up with the washing pile (in as much as anyone does in any case) and had a lovely shower.....then got one of these stupid nerve things I get, this one in my right legMy left calf is now a weird shape in its cramp, good news is that the nerves are so screwed it doesn't really hurt much. The head is a bit 'hmm' tonight, but not 'in it' where I think if you can imagine that, just a pretty standard trigeminal sort of thing.

Feeling here in energy levels and head space is so much more valuable than no cramps (and tbh, I have had a really good summer for my normal pains....every cloud has a silver lining!

I'm here. Wonder where everyone else is? Are they having a party that we weren't invited to? :rotfl:

I have worn make up Mon to Fri since starting work. I'm not sure when the last time I did that was, but it was a long time ago (possibly when I was 18). I'm not hating it as much as I thought I would, not sure how long I will manage to keep up the illusion of trying to be vaguely presentable :)

Hope your calf calms itself down soon.

If wearing makeup becomes a bind remember there are ways to minimise it. Iirc you have nice skin and eyelashes, the two main things IMO. I dye my lashes (or used to, haven't since the old eye business started, though might do it tomorrow:)). But I still wear mascara with dyed eyelashes. I am not sure if it's age or what, but mine are thinner and shorter than they used to be....

I love multiple use things (my Nara orgasm multiple stick gets used a lot, and my bars cactus flower cream blusher gets used on my lips as well, though it's not a multiple. Other than that I can 'make do' with an eyebrow pencil, touche !clat and mascara. I love eyeshadows, I love playing with colour, but honestly, I think I am justa too old and round now. :(. It looks weird. I miss rainbow eyelids or eyeliner. Today I had peacock green eyeliner agon my lower lashes, and IMO that still looks ok. Just.

I quite like the idea of semi permanant makeup, just for very subtle eyeliner really, but dh would not be keen I know.:D.

No, I came in and shot straight up to my room; I'm hungry and can't face running the gauntlet of cooking, feeling I am about to be questioned.... then told what I SHOULD be doing/buying/cooking/eating ... and where from and how etc.

    ... counting down to D Day :)
