Hi scuff, how are you?
Yes we pay £125 for both gas and electric to eON. Its a rip off isn't it? Hope you notice a saving now the waters off boost.
The rag-man didn't pay well did he? Perhaps they're more generous in Wales!
The holiday in the lakes sounds amazing! I think its always good to have something to look forward to on these cold winter days.
I'm off to help DS with homework - fun and games eh?

Need to update properly (suffering a serious case of the cbas!!!) but just wanted to quickly say OD1 is now sub £1k WAHOOOOO (haven't seen it in 3 figures for a while!!!!!) It's now at £970.90, and total debt is at £7651.01 ... maybe I should pay that penny off...September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200

Well. I went AWOL and it got me nowhere haha. I should be halfway to clearing my debts off by now - I'm actually right back at square 1! 2 maxed out overdrafts, fees biting my !!!! on the one I use as a day to day account. Poop poop poop. Started a brand new spreadsheet today (it's called 'this time I mean BUSINESS' haha) and as of next payday (totally brassic til then - 23rd Jul) business is what I will mean! Gonna get back to updating on here, although not as often - reason I stopped was nothing was getting done! Need to update my signatures but cba right now - bit down in the dumps tbh! Clipped a car today - 1st issue I've had since passing my test - didn't know who the car belonged to so left a note with my number but man am I dreading tomorrow / the phone call (only a wing mirror but still man I'm scared! Haha big wimp!)
Hope everyone else is well - really need to catch up!September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Super fed up today, not really anything to do with money although I think money is in there somewhere, everything seems really sh!tty. Well not everything but the way I'm feeling makes it seem a bit that way. Cba to do anything - I need to tidy a bit, hoover, sort my finance spreadsheet out, wash my hamster's cage so I can put it on eBay, other stuff too, but just cant be bothered. Was feeling better today until I got seriously undermined at work. It's happened a lot and not maliciously but still really annoying, especially when I'm a youngster among 'grown-ups' and kind of have something to prove / make my position clear. It happened today at like half 8, so I came in in good spirits and am now rather fed up / cba. Need to get my moods up!
Anyway, moneywise I'm patiently (ish?!) awaiting payday - next Tues - so not much to report until then. I have 160 in the bank but 150 charges coming out on Friday, so in reality I have 10ish! Which I'm leaving well alone. Need to make sure my account stays in the arranged overdraft, or I'll be still going round in the same circle I've been going round in the past few months! Worst part was I didn't even realise, so that's why I'm back with my tail well and truly between my legs! Got a decent payrise in April and seemed to develop the opinions of 'I've earnt a treat by having a wage rise' and 'I don't need to worry anymore now I have more money coming in, the debt will sort it self out'
Clearly this is not the case...
Off to get a cuppa and I'll be back with the plan!September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Right I'm back!
There are 2 plans running alongside each other here, in 2 separate financial realms - one being my DFW personal spends, and the other being the joint account which needs keeping in check / cutting down on useless spends as we're trying to save as much as we can for a deposit, but are a lot better at saying it than doing it of late!
1) My Personal Spends:
Incoming ~£1600 pm (I'm not entirely sure of the exact figure - since my wage increase I had 2 months where I was being over-taxed and last month I got my tax back so I have no idea what my actual basic pay is! This I should find out v soon when I get my payslip!)
Money to joint: £800
Diesel: ~£100 (Just swapped cars so I'm waiting to figure out how much diesel I actually use - think it'll be less than this though tbh)
Car maintenance: £10
Insurance: £90
Phone bill: £36
This leaves me with £564 for debt repayment and personal spends
Debt repayment being:
~£22 pm min payment to CC (0%)
~£18 interest charges to OD1 (19.9%)
£20 interest charges to OD2 (£1 a day capped at 20 days)
'Giving' myself a MAXIMUM (are you listening to this Scuff? MAXIMUM) of £100 pm 'spends' - aiming to keep this as low as possible
~£460 to debt repayment.
I dont know if this is true stilll BUT when I was on here last the one that wanted paying first was OD1, so the grand plan is to leave £20 in OD2 (where my wage goes into), £25 to CC, and £415 to OD1. Any of the £100 I don't spend will go into OD1.
This was the same plan as last time, that fell through due to me being over cocky haha. THIS TIME I MEAN BUSINESS!!
I'll post about the joint later - back to work time!September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Hey Scuff welcome back, great to see you posting and ready to battle those pesky debts and charges again.

Thanks lea! This time I am determined haha!! How are you getting on with your shiny new pad??
PAYDAYYYYY!!!!!
Haven't actually been paid yet (rolls in around 10ish) and cant check my banking til I get home. All the moneys should automatically be winging themselves to their respective homes, other than the £100 cash I am going to take out to be my 'spends' for the month.
Outgoings from the £100 this month are:
-New glass for the wing mirror £12 (just rang the car parts shop up and completely forgot the name for a wing mirrorI was like erm do you sell ermmmm mirrors. You know those mirrors. That stick out. Put the phone down and PING THEY'RE CALLED WING MIRRORS YOU DAMN FOOL!!!:rotfl:) Pick this up this aft
-Dinner out tomorrow for OH's dad and grandad's birthday - think this will be around £20
-Thursday -Monday we're at a festival in Kendal (in the thunderstorms ) so remaining money will go on that. I've a feeling it will be a challenge... (£68...)
Then I'll be poor for the rest of the month haha. Good re-starting month Scuff, good restarting month!:pSeptember 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Just cancelled 2 of my 3 magazine subscriptions - i was keeping them before with the excuse that it stops me buying them in the shops but tbh i've stopped now! I don't even read the two I have cancelled - just look at the pictures haha.
Will save me £99.92 over the year.September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200
