Of course you are in the right and NCP wouldn't know how to handle a Small Claim properly if they tried. No need to hold your nerve, it's all a scam and you can laugh at it. In the absence of any credit agreement, a firm can't just 'get a CCJ' against you without the small matter of winning in a Small Claims Court AND then you refusing to pay the judgment!
But I can't wait for taffy to see this (see previous page) as he has got the ongoing email thread with the DVLA where they were hoodwinked by Newlyn into believing this was 'an old stock of letters'. Which was absolute bull because Newlyn Debt Collectors have NEVER been 'a company of bailiffs', it is not the same thing at all.
If taffy send you a private message for a copy of that letter you can trust him.
What's the date of that letter?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Pezant,
I have an ongoing complaint about Newlyns with the dvla, I notice you mentioned that you received yours on the 08/10/12, is that correct ? Also as they are just debt collectors their letter is deceptive and designed to illegally intimidate you, just ignore them. If you wish you can make a compliant to the dvla yourself, you need to scan your letter in and email themExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0
