What an absolutely shocking letter, they seriously need to be sanctioned for this, as well as ncp as newlyns are their agents in this
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

In my opinion as well as a ban from accessing DVLA data, all those who have paid up after receiving such letters should have all their monies refunded, by the PPC ( if it was the ppcs car park) or by the car park owner ( ie a supermarket) before the ppc is allowed access to the DVLA database

If you look the letter chains above you will see the self-same missive under the Vinci collection. So they seem to be a serial offender in that respect.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Newlyn are AOS members in their own right so it should be a ban for them at least!
However their normal excuse like putting council reference numbers on PPC letters is that it was a clerical error.

They did try slapping a ticket on it but it refused to pay.

Newlyns do seem to get confused over whether they are wearing their debt-collector's or bailiffs' hat. This from last year over a simple PPC ticket (and remember this had not gone anywhere near a court) :-

However, astonishingly, this morning she received a personal visit at her home from a BAILIFF from NEWLYN Plc who left a hand delivered notice through her door which states on it the following:

    FINAL NOTICE

    BAILIFF REMOVAL

    Total Outstanding £238.13

    Due to: Civil Enforcement Ltd

I have today attended your property with the intention of levying and removing your goods.

I will be attending again in the next few days, at the time of my visit I may remove without further notice, goods including motor vehicles even in your absence.

TO AVOID THIS ACTION YOU MUST CONTACT MY ENFORCEMENT TEAM IMMEDIATELY ON 01604 633001 (Bailiff in Charge).

There has not been a summons issued and neither has a Judgment been granted.
