think you're looking for supercook - you input the contents of your freezer and cupboards and it gives you details of what you can make and a shopping list if you need to buy any extras.
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

As this has dropped down the board i've merged it with the cooking by numbers thread - the link certainly does not seem to be working! I wonder what happened?

This thread title suggests there are other alternatives within it. Sad that site seems to be gone .:(

    You could try here... http://www.be-ro.co.uk/f_insp.htm

You'd need to just choose something - but all the recipes are simple and bulletproof.

We also have an older thread that should help you:-

Recipe website using own ingredients (including Cooking by Numbers )

I'll add your post to it later to help keep all the answers together.

    Good luck :)

  • Can anyone guide me in right direction?

I need a site where you put ingredients you have and they find a recipe for you.

I have some cooked chicken and some peppers. Want to make some sort of pasta bake.

    Thanks in advance.

Try BBC site. It's very good for exactly what you want.
