    Wouldn't you just know it!!

Just been back to outlet shopping mall & got MIL a lovely bottle of perfume from crabtree & evelyn for £7.50 reduced from £15.

Bought DS's 2 great T-shirts each (they'll love them they have sculls on them). All half price & some more £2.25 Luxury Hot chocolate from Whittards for presents.

Got back home and discovered my Tumble Dryer has packed in. Has been a good one 15yrs old. I don't know if I should replace it or just buy a clothes airer instead to save energy and money. Just worried how long a pair of jeans or towells would take to dry in the winter, don't know if I could handle waiting 2 days for my jeans to dry!!
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

actually I have had a tumble dryer for 15 years now and as I am disabled need it as I can't hang my washing out...it's a godsend...and I haven't got high bill's on the contrary they are cheaper than my friends and they don't use a tumble...although I have up-dated the tumble in later year's I wouldn't be without mine...:Dtowel's arent as fluffy either

i hate not having my computer, with hubby being in the military we depend on it alot to communicate, when i moved house BT made an error with putting my broad band on , we were with out it for a month I swear i almost had a break down lol, looking back it is funny, but at the time i thought the world was ending. Hope it gets sorted real soon for you.

had to wade through 9 or 10 pages to refind this thread.. what on *earth* is going on?!

anyway, thankyou hon.. we're finally back online .. had to splurge £250 to buy new bits for the main puter but its worth it, as we're now properly back. I coped okay without the net but OH wasn't very happy.. he loves his second life!

anyway thanks for forwarding/offering to forward the xmas pud recipe.. I've actually emailed the company and asked them to either give me permission to post it on my blog (i.e. release the copy right) or tell me where i *can* tell people where to get the recipe in a book that is in print. i've had an email back from someone saying they were looking into it but nothing since. I hope they release the copy right as its the only recipe i've seen that doesn't have suet or mixed peel, so its popular with lots of people.

anyway thanks again, and i've forwarded the recipe to all those people now!

I'm doing a gardening hamper for a friend who is due to move house shortly. Just came across this on the Woolworths site - a Wilkinson Sword garden multi-tool reduced to £1.98.

Hmm, they must've done it in error, I checked the website and it's now £4.49

At the minute I'm signing up for as many free toiletries samples as possible, I'm gonna stick them altogether in the hamper for my sister-in-law :T
  • Thats what I've been doing throughout the year and I've been fortunate to have obtained loads :) ....I'm really pleased as this is the first year I have done this. I'll definitely be doing it next year though as its well worth it. :)
