"Battery consumption issues in a "mobile" like Note make it not suitable for most people."
We can only talk of our own experience. In my experience of using the note 2 now for 5 days is the the battery lasts longer than my iphone4.
Haven't apple endorsed big screens by the launch of the mini pad? There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Sorry, there were a few, not 'plenty' and were by far the minority in sales terms. And they were super massive giants compared with the overwhelming majority of phones which were regular small candybar form factor. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.

High end users need more than a nightly charge, one device with a screen even just to make a call before the screen blanks out that big screen burns battery power, network strength & bands is also one aspect no NOTE user can control in battery control.
I just don't understand what you're basing your ideas on...assumption, maybe?
I've read people have played over 12 hours of continuous video on their note 2. Is this what you mean by a "high end" user?
And, hang on, are you saying that the note 2 is not suitable for "high end" users now? It was "most users" before.
To be honest, I think you need to do a little more research, or expand your horizons a little. The note2 has the second largest battery in the market that I'm aware of and it lasts incredibly well.
I returned my last android phone, a HTC Desire HD, because it was fairly suicidal in it's hatred of battery life...you couldn't do more than 8 hours of moderate use without the thing dying... and so I switched to an iPhone 4 instead, which was much better. I, like you, *assumed* the note 2 would have the same issues...Until I actually read some stuff about it and was convinced the battery life would be fine...and you know what, it really is fine.0 -
I've had an iPhone4 for almost a year now. Been really happy with it because it's simple and it just works. Meanwhile my girlfriend berates me because she has a Samsung Galaxy S3, but she spends hours on the damn thing making apps and what not work. So each to their own.0
