I am agog that by reducing their income to $200,000 they would be eligible for financial assistance!!! !!!!!!! Why would that be anywhere near a level where anyone would be in great need?
As for bidets/washing etc. if it was that odd why would 'wet' toilet tissues even exist?Put the kettle on.0 -
My work colleagues had a good giggle at my frugality when that article came out. Never refused to buy TP (get it cheap in bulk and store it on top of my wardrobe :P) but I do use my bath and shower water to soak clothes - I've paid to heat that water, it's still pretty clean and it means I can put clothes on just a rinse and spin or maybe a quick wash, depending on what they are, instead of a regular one, and still get them lovely and clean. And I'm right with her on tumble driers...0

I often go 6-9 days without shopping
I have to say, it's remarkably easy to NOT spend money - all you do is avoid shops. Simple really.*
* I appreciate it's not QUITE as simple as that, but it's not far off... Not in my experience anyway0 -
Just saw an advert for this, it's an American show, one lady wees in a jar to save water from flushing :T
Looks like an interesting show, sure some OS regulars could give them some tips though0 -
