Grabbed seven black ink tesco epsom cartridges yesterday for 1p each, a huge saving, probably about a tenner each normally.

Also the tesco seasonal finest 150g crisps (turkey, chedder) are still out there and checking out at 27p. I came home with a few, sel says £1.29 or similar.

Probably buying toiletries that I don't need, as I can't resist a "bargain."

  • Just on to share my pain....

Found my first 1p bargain in Tesco... got to the till and they refused to sell it to me.

Apparently they're not allowed to sell things for 1p in my local

I used self-scan for my 1p books. Mind you, if I had gone through the till, I might have tried to argue the point, depending upon what sort of mood I was in.
  • Do they go through the self scan ok? I might pop back at the weekend
