1p and 2p supermarket bargains

my local tesco had these thorntons chocs same bar code but at full price they had loads yesterday, today i went in and none to be seen maybe staff perk if they later in day where 1p

My Tesco had these on top shelf with no SEL. Price at checkout was £6,(didnt buy) however smaller size boxes of these chocs at eye level on shelf had SEL labels of £7 and £8.

Found about 7 boxes scanning at 1p in rotherham tesco extra didn't get chance to buy them the staff came up at the back of us on the self serve till and grabbed them off us stating they are not 1p it's an error and we are not allowed them! Seriously what the hell? You'd think we were stealing them

I had this happen with some 1p items in the past too. I was so angry! I've managed to get away with buying other 1p items though, you just have to be very quick at the self checkout and it helps if you buy other stuff too because then they're less likely to notice.
