Wow thank you thought they had all gone but they must have refilled the shelves will pop back later as the woman on the self scan watches the screen so sees everything you buy and takes things of you.

I've been watching my local Sainsburys store ( they are the only major store we have) and I never see 1p items.

That said Tesco seem to give fresh yeast to customers who ask while Sainsburys charge!
  • Thanks op.

Managed to pick up 5 in my local Tesco tonight.

Were still marked up at £14 on the shelf.

Remembered to self serve this time, as I have been caught out before. :o

They were around at christmas I believe but they were in the bottom of the clearance sections and the only 2 left. Worth a rummage if they are about for presents.
  • My wife managed to find some bananas today at Morrison's that scanned through at 1p per bunch. Shame i hate bananas.

Tipp-Ex Mini Pocket Mouse Twin Pack. Shelf label said £2.50 (I think) but I was using 'scan & shop' and it scanned at a penny.

Found in Tesco Cleethorpes but sorry Cleethorpes people... I cleared the shelf. :o I work in a school and I'll be handing them out in the staffroom.
