I didn't realise that I should still be looking for oncoming traffic at the junction when I was nearly clear of the corner!
You should for this very reason.
Its the same as crossing on foot. You don't look, go and not look, you keep looking in case you missed something - as happened here.
Even if lights are at green. You never know what the other person is doing.

5t.
I'm sorry, I didn't make myself clear.
Obviously you do keep looking at oncoming traffic when crossing another lane to turn right, which I did. But I was about 3/4 of the way round the corner, if not more, so I had switched my eyes to look in the direction that I was travelling when he hit me.0 -
So you were going right in front of the garage? Where was the 3rd party coming from?

It is up to you to ensure there is enough clear space, to enable you to fully enter the lane, on the road you are entering, and accelerate to the correct speed, before traffic already in the lane has reached you.0

From the streetview it looks like the junction is traffic light controlled.
How does it work? Are both traffic lights green at the same time?
If so, I would say you were 100% at fault.
If yours was at green whilst his was at red, then I'd say 70:30 in your favour . He should never have come through the traffic light at red, but you should have been aware to see him coming.0 -
Yes. The third party came from the opposite side of the junction, where the Land Rover is in that Street View picture.
So you were turning right, across the path of a vehicle approaching, from directly in front of you?
Sorry. I thought you were turning right, and the moped was approaching along the road crossing the one you were leaving.0 -

It's also traffic approaching from both sides.
The traffic approaching the junction from both sides also have traffic lights which would have been on red whilst mine was green.0 -

Looks like they would both be green. No right turn filter though so go when it is clear (or not in this case).
Apologies if that is wrong OP but if not it is 100% you and really, it's lucky things aren't worse.
