Sorry I need to disagree I have only started using Asda with the last couple of glitches but have to say they have been uneerringly polite with my purchases (3 in a row) and have been fine with the APGs when presented. I have been prepared for a trouting by looking on here (and from people's expereince with the Tesco DTD days) but that has not hapeened. I had a 2 minute wait for a supervisor to Ok an APG over £10 (but uner £15). The SA has always concentrated on me the customer and given me their full attention. Much better than some competitor SAswho carry out conversation with colleagues etc. This is Asda in Killngb*ck Leeds.
I think it depends on the store and the Manager - it seems like the SAs in deebees store had a 'feeding frenzy' without a SM to reign them in. Some Managers I have heard are like little hitlers - I think flash mobbing for these known stores sounds great as despite head office intervention some are still having their moment .... but please its not all.
I tend to get mainly really friendly staff in Asda, can't do enough for you. They are ok with the APG's as long as you present your receipt. Some people might be able to forge APG's (computer experts), but they can't forge receipts as well, surely? If so, they deserve jail as that is fraud. Not going there armed with your original receipt and an apg. Some sa's look closely and check the date and time so that they correspond, and then sign and send you on your way, others do call the till manager, but they usually have a quick look and send you on your way.
I think some have just been unlucky with who they have got.0 -
No

Hi all,
Little man is at nursery so baby and I are having a catch up. For anyone worried about using an apg in Asda, ring customer services tell them you've had hassle before and they ring the store and give then a reminder of there policies. I have done this a few times, once when I had a £30 apg, back before the limit was introduced, and touch wood I never had a problem.0 -

Have not got any apgs to look at but anyone with photoshop or anything similair could do it in a minute I guess.
No need to forge the receipt you could use any if you where that way inclined and yes I do agree with you it is fraud and if the sentence is jail then yes they do deserve that. When The Fun Stops Stop0 -
Thought I would share this with you today now I have calmed down about it.
Left Mr Tinyshoes in charge of getting a RSH code yesterday as 2nd batch were being released while I was taking mum to the hairdressers.
Anyway I got the page up on the laptop where the red writing was that said a link would appear there when they were available. Even pointed to where the red writing was on the screen. Told him to keep refreshing the page until link came up and put my email, postcode and the other security words in. Well he phoned me up just gone 3pm and said it is only asking for your email and I have pressed get it. I thought it was a bit strange how easy it was, had a feeling he had not got it right.
When I got home he had only signed me up for Martins Weekly Emails!!! as of course refreshing had taken him back to the top of the page and he just saw the space to input my email.:mad::mad:

Got My KC envelope today, so sent vouchers off.
So for anyone else without Shine sheet till spits... I bought the Kleenex cloth wipes, 49p, got a 30points till spit, got another pack but points wouldn't scan with that, so now I had two till spits. Got a Kleenex pocket tissue pack 55p, and points scanned but no till spit.
So the cheapest way to get 30 points seems to be 49p Kleenex cloth wipes, then buy 55p Kleenex pocket pack tissues. £1.04 spend, £1.20 points value if use on deals. hth0 -
