Well I was a bit late getting round to ringing Kimberley Clarke up about the kleenex shine wipes. Have just got off the phone to the very nice lady who tells me that she is going to send me a pre-paid envelope for me to send her the vouchers and she will then send me the shine wipes by return post. No mention of the generic voucher
.
Anybody else had this?
Oh dear.... I hope I get vouchers back in my envelope and not 12 packs of shine wipes!:(:p0 -
I do agree with this but I think it must have been a big shock to be operating 'within' the law and to be treated like this. I think for honest people, being accused of fraud and theft (and I don't think glitching falls in to that) is a hugely embarrassing and shocking experience. It can make people OTT wanting to 'prove' their innocence, when really, she shouldn't have been put in that position in the first place.
Asda are clearly sending mixed messages to their staff regarding the APG's that people are legitimately using. Rather than huddling staff and talking about fraud, photoshop and theft, I think Asda need to need to take it on the chin and use it as an opportunity to fix a system that is riddled with holes. The messages going down the chain of command are clearly causing shop floor staff to put the customer in a very difficult and embarrassing position when doing something that Asda encourage.
Anyhoo, rant over. I have a £12 APG and now I am dreading using it. WIsh I had read about trouting prior to getting involved - I would have ensured it was an APG under £10 cos I just don't need the hassle of the kind of treatment Dee suffered.
Also, sorry for the ramble, isn't the kind of treatment Dee suffered a mix of defamation, assault etc? Aren't there laws ahgainst this kind of treatment against 'underdogs'
My daughter got trouted with an APG of about £9.80 so doesn't matter really if over or under £10, lol!
Just have to stand your ground and remain as pleasant and unfazed as possible!

o
the troutings i hate are tesco troutings:(:(:(:(:(:(:( (over coupons, DTD, well anything really even the flippin air you are breathing:eek::eek:)
major one this week for me and chief exec's office are sorting, I left in tears as well but would rather not discuss it until it's sorted. I have to say I am unlikley to EVER have the guts to go in to that store again even if I receive a red carpet and major gift card:(
Really sorry to hear that you had a bad experience Celebrate.
All I can say is that some trouts must have really sad lives if this is how they get their kicks. They seem to go on a power trip and I swear they think it is their own money when we use a coupon!
I know that they have a job to do but others seem to manage to do so whilst still treating you as a human being why can't they? I have been turned down with coupons in the such a nice way by some SA that I have not minded at all. It is the way that they do things and not what they do most of the time that is offensive.
Good luck with CE office. xWhen I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think

Totally agree with Chandlerscroft.
And I too have said how helpful and pleasant the staff are.
I think some of it depends on where you live.
When some of you were getting 6 or 7 Bavaria at a time I could only get one. If there are a lot of people using APGs in you area it may put you at an advantage or disadvantage.
Also if you can drive and have a few shops to choose from it's easier. Nobody wants to raise their profile in their local store, especially if it is their only store.
In my experience trouts are also less likely to confront men, especially if they are wearing smart suits.0 -

Feeling quite glum today so went on the hunt for some jokes and found this. It made me laugh so I thought I would share
"My weirdo neighbor sent me an invitation to her cats birthday party!
What is the matter with some people...she knew that's the same day as my dogs wedding! " :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Although I have to confess DD and I do make cards for our cats birthdays and give them a posh tin of cat food. When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
