Thanks. So far then we have the rice, the porridge and the smiles toothbrush triggers as not working. Might be worth adding to this list to make sense of it.

A few wombles from today with unconnected multibuy offers on would also help put another price of the jigsaw into place.

    A new list :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Looking at the lists coming in this morning there are some very odd results. the ones that amuse me are the results saying things like

    " waitrose cheaper by 22p"

It makes a mockery of the whole APG scheme.

If the difference between 2 stores was so little I for one would far rather do a 10 mile return trip to our nearest waitrose, a far nicer store in every way possible :rotfl:

Oh we'll, just have to see how things pan out but it does seem to be every bit as awful as we think I is.

I've used up my Sainsburys brand matches and conditional spends last weekend so is back to doing tiny one item shops until they send me some more. I've got about £7 in TPP so I've been doing small shops in t to use mocs, this has felt quite a novelty. Still waiting for yesterday's recs to come back though

I hung onto my Sada gift cards rather than spend them so these and the left over APGs will keep us going over the next 3 weeks. Time to eat down the freezer and fridge again - it's only loo paper and juice that we will run out of next week.

Back to wobbling, couponong, try me frees, eBay, amazon, competitions, prize draws, and stretching the budget again .....

We need to know if both dental shops were for waitrose or not. So far I've mainly seen reports of failed shops which trigger off the rice pud.

It'd be interesting to see a cleaning shop with the cheap loo cleaner as the trigger as that would give us a clearer picture. Or the porridge.

Also dental shops with the two different triggers/supermarkets.

Then we have the stand along glitches such as the deodorant.

I believe they are in the process of fixing it, but have not fully done so yet. With so many odd triggers and stand along glitches it won't happen all at once imo.

    Mine was Waitrose (Steradent)
TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS
  • This was my shop, it seems they sell none of my products in Waitrose?

0 items on your bill qualify for comparison Waitrose

This shop could prove the theory that A's are plugging the glitch v W. Each of these items are on a multi buy offer there. Not checked the caramac though.:D

Well!! you don't post for one day and what happens, the old thread is gone and it looks like the Apg is over. I would say thank you for the new thread but not sure if that is appropriate? ;)

Goodness, what alot to catch up on. If it is over I only have done a few shops but happy with what I have and I have enough vouchers to get two weeks of normal food shopping which will help with the finances this month, cereal to last a few weeks and hair poo and conditioner, also some baby products for a couple of hampers and a few cleaning items.

So a really heartfelt thank you to everyone that has helped and contributed to this glitch, also for helping me when I first joined trying to get my head around all of this. These include: Savannah, Cosmic Dust, Itch for a Glitch and not forgetting the adorable Stinky. :A Henlans for his list and also to Angelsmadv for their list. Locarr too and of course FudgeCake.

Of course everyone has helped and contributed but also for the personal consideration too, FairClaire you are just fantastic sweetheart, Magicowen you are such a joy, Tweets, Lfab, Noony the list goes on, as so many people just give so much support.

So now the end is nigh for the apg, I hope the regulars feel that they can come back to the thread they obviously love so much. I aim to stick around if thats ok?

One last thing, REDFOX hunny, Budgie thinks your life will get that little bit easier from now on. Well for a little while at least. ;)

    Stay Lucky

Thanks from me,didn't get a lot,but did get nice people and plenty of help.

Great, shame you have to donate £2 to send each box of goodies though!

Thats a bit silly. i bet loads of people would love to do a fair few of these with bits they got lying around but dont use but can't afford to do more than one/a couple because of the £2

    Afternoon all :)

Why won't Leo take his nap :( he's been a horrible little boy today and yesterday, humiliated me in town yesterday took his shoes and socks off, kept putting them back on then in end got fed up so left them off and it started raining so got awful looks off people :( ahh froff em!!

Just been pulling my hair and headbutting me too :( absolute psycho!
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

I am convinced that it is ignoring any multibuy promotions in competitors supermarkets. Pears shows against T because it is full price in T, it is N/A against S because of the 3 for 2 promo

1a. Promotions which make it difficult for us to compare fairly are excluded from the ASDA Price Guarantee.

Looks to me like they are rolling out this t&c more than they ever did (it was always there but applied to things like "free cream with strawberries")

Here is an archived summary about APG (scroll right to the bottom)

You could well be right - but, if it is ignoring multibuys, it really does make a mockery of their APG promise. There is nothing difficult about comparing an item that is on BOGOF at another supermarket - it just means that customers have paid double at Asda and, as Asda promise they are cheaper, they should refund the difference.

I'm not surprised they have clamped down, we've all been extraordinarily well served by this glitch. It would be fairer at the moment (to other 'normal' customers!) if they were honest about it and simply apologised that they had to suspend the whole scheme temporarily while they sorted out a working comparison program. Continuing to insist they are cheaper but returning loads of everyday items as N/A is not really a good way to go - its misleading.
