Oh well, upwards and onwards a return to normal everyday life.

I will now have time to look on the dark side, read the grabbits, ebay and et al which have been neglected.

I think we have all done well out of this glitch but all think i wish i'd bought more of this or that.

Don't write it off just yet!!;)

I don't think they have fully fixed it!

  • QUOTE=wackojackouk;56250969]Yep, coders would just write a query and reference a supermarket and an additional multibuy.

It might be as simple as adding a multibuy table in their database and tagging items as multibuys when on offer. Thus when you input your receipt and it matches against the product is recognises that it is a multibuy at Mr W for example and gives a N/A whereas it's not at Mr T so returns the correct price.

IF (and it is an IF) then this is certainly misleading. The main glitches aren't caused by products on a single multi-buy really but "trigger" prodicts from different departments (i.e. Rice) causing a huge indifference in price.

In theory things like OEP should still work as they are all the same department... this makes me think something else (albeit misleading) could be in play.[/QUOTE]

Ok - some of this goes over my head unfortunately but think this is what I have been trying to say. So, if this is the case, it could be a temporary measure that A's have implemented until such a time that they have got a better system in place as I have been thinking. Yes, I know that it goes against the grain for us lot that have been benfitting from the glitch but A'd have got themselves covered by the paragrapg in the t & c 's that states the exclusions.

    Or am I barking:D:D:D:D

Just been though my old receipts that have not been printed off yet to see if they were still good. All are ok apart from one where I have bought ambrosia chocolate instead of original? Everything has come back n/a for this shop. Shop took place on 24th Sep and included cif, domestos and flash wipes so no multibuys? Very strange. Glad the other ones are ok though :D

it's only loo paper and juice that we will run out of next week.

    .....

Might be able to help with the loo paper, T have a 'gift' with 4 pack Andrex Gorgeous comfort quilts, £2.00 - a voucher for a free refill pack of Andrex washlets £1.88. These compare on PP to £1 at A, and there is a 50p coupon around (coupon thread?).
So for £2 you get, 4 loo rolls, pack of washlets, 88p price promise and 50p off your shopping for pp.
So 62p, 4 loo rolls and a pack of washlets.:T

You must buy the loo rolls one per shop to get a voucher (till spit) with each pack, works with and without clubcard and on SS.

Make sure you get FREE GIFT banded pack!!

Hope this is a little ray of sunshine, back to T's we go!!

And I've used my BS Wise Woman Vitality Serum this morning so am inclined to agree with you Purdy:T:T

Isn't it nice stuff? I don't usually buy BS skincare and I know it's not cheap at the normal price of £21, but I'm just so much cleverer today it's untrue :rotfl::rotfl:

I've had four of my orders delivered this morning, just waiting on the very first one with my diffusers in.
    Thanks again Clairebear...fab glitch :T:T
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
