Kind of defeats the whole object of the APG as they are just excluding items that would/could potentially be cheaper !! I know we have had a good run but this is just making a mockery of the APG 'claims' now.

It could also only be a temp measure until they fix the cross department stuff. If they dont then even though their T&C say fairly I agree and I think Mr T etc could have a field day.

Might be interesting to see if it is just vs Multibuys OR if they do have a exclude list... could quite easily copy Henlans list for example and exclude certain products on certain supermarkets...

Another thought it might be interesting to see any NEW multibuys at Mr T for example and how they compare... isn't there change days Tuesday night (or has that changed)

I am convinced that it is ignoring any multibuy promotions in competitors supermarkets. Pears shows against T because it is full price in T, it is N/A against S because of the 3 for 2 promo

1a. Promotions which make it difficult for us to compare fairly are excluded from the ASDA Price Guarantee.

Looks to me like they are rolling out this t&c more than they ever did (it was always there but applied to things like "free cream with strawberries")

Here is an archived summary about APG (scroll right to the bottom)

I mentioned this earlier on in the thread, having looked at my receipt breakdown, all the mutibuys have come back as N/A
  • We need to know if both dental shops were for waitrose or not. So far I've mainly seen reports of failed shops which trigger off the rice pud.

It'd be interesting to see a cleaning shop with the cheap loo cleaner as the trigger as that would give us a clearer picture. Or the porridge.

Also dental shops with the two different triggers/supermarkets.

Then we have the stand along glitches such as the deodorant.

I believe they are in the process of fixing it, but have not fully done so yet. With so many odd triggers and stand along glitches it won't happen all at once imo.

I done a dental shop this morning A v T's and came back as N/A

Used colgates smiles t/brush as trigger
  • This was my shop, it seems they sell none of my products in Waitrose?

0 items on your bill qualify for comparison Waitrose

1 x ASDA Chosen by You Wholegrain Scottish Porridge Oa... £0.65 N/A
    1 x Johnson's Baby Shampoo (500ml) £2.20 N/A
    1 x Johnson's Baby Bath (500ml) £2.66 N/A
    1 x Johnson's Baby Lotion (500ml) £2.60 N/A
    1 x Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream (110g) £2.00 N/A
    1 x Kellogg's Rice Krispies Squares Chewy Marshmallow ... £1.00 N/A
    3 x Nestle Caramac Bar (30g) £1.00 N/A
    1 x Mr Muscle Window & Glass Cleaner with Vinegar (500... £1.00 N/A
    3 x Red Square Reloaded Original (500ml) £3.00 N/A
    1 x Kellogg's Coco Pops (550g) £2.00 N/A
    1 x Kellogg's Rice Krispies Squares Rocky Road (4x34g) £1.00 N/A

Comparison total (compared products only) £0.00 £0.00

Ok so porridge trigger might not be working either lol.

    I give up. :rotfl:

Agreed - this is why we need testers. I also wonder if they are working on 'correcting' one oppo's multi buys first then will move on to the next. Must be a mammoth job - my blonde head can't begin to think how big it must be.

Thanks. So far then we have the rice, the porridge and the smiles toothbrush triggers as not working. Might be worth adding to this list to make sense of it.

A few wombles from today with unconnected multibuy offers on would also help put another price of the jigsaw into place.
